Actually, there was an article about AB wanting to pull the trigger on firing Quinn but McKay persuade him not to.

I'm not McKay's biggest fan, but Blank listening to football people is a good thing, and McKay is at least a football guy.

Arthur Blank:  We want continuity

Also Arthur Blank:  EVERYBODY IS ON THE HOT SEAT!

Just dumb.  He should keep his mouth shut.

Staying quiet hasn't gotten falcon ownership a championship in over 50 years...

One more thing. If Ryan had said that he would receive praise for it...

Well, spouting off hasn’t gotten us one in 17 of those either. So maybe this isn’t a really good way to approach the issue.

Blank has been low key.  When he DID put Quinn on notice the team turned it around during the second half last season...

The sense of urgency is real and I think a lot of us can agree with what AB is saying, but man, this talk could have waited until we see what the season unfolds.

No...the team turned around when Quinn convinced AB he wanted to make sweeping changes.

Try to wrap your head around that. The HC had to convince the owner to let him do what he wanted. That's a better explanation than anything else I've heard for what we saw the first half of the season.

It's just going to delay everything another year when we have another 7-9 season.

Playoffs should be the standard for every team. It's concerning he would even have to say this.

Well we know that isn’t true. Teams like the Cards and Bengals just want to show growth right now

Lies.

Playoffs are not the Falcons‘ standard.  “Finishing strong” is the Falcons’ standard.

Embracing the suck is the Falcons standards.. Quinn said it himself

AB is a Falcon for life

Knew a VP of an S&P 500 company who conducted a company-wide assessment to identify which positions within the company that were not needed, and could be cut. The report came back saying his position was one of the positions that was not needed and should be terminated. This man promptly fired himself. True story!

Wonder if Mr. Blank could survive a similar corporate search within the Falcons, and if he would indeed fire himself. After not making any personnel changes this off-season, I think it is painfully obvious that his position is no longer needed!

"Play-offs? PLAY-OFFS??!?"

Play-offs was the hoped-for standard, the actual standard is a late-season surge to 7-9 and a crappy mid-round draft pick. But win lose or draw this season will definitely produce some serious drama with the Grim Reaper walking in lock-step with DQ on the sidelines and the Angel of Death flapping its wings behind TD's chair in the owner's box every game. It's going to be like live NFL Paranormal Adventures.

No, you know how the Falcons are.  They'll go 10-6, win a wildcard game, lose the division round, and we'll be stuck with mediocrity when they go for another two 7-9s after that.

We never get to the mountain top, but we're just good enough to also never rebuild.
