I wouldn’t be shocked to see Pache back with the ML team soon. At this point, probably before Waters.

Gut says our starting 5 in the rotation is: Soroka, Fried, Folty, Felix and Wright.

Fried has looked a little off from what I can tell so far

Fried has been having some trouble locating his fastball. The curve has looked good.

Good outing for Fried. 4 2/3 inning, 75 pitches, 0 R, 3 K, GO-FO 4-2

only negative was to many walks (5)

I wouldn't mind seeing that pitch count get down a little bit, but overall it isn't terrible. Not the Folty, 90 pitches after 4 innings bad lol

Definitely would have liked to see it lower. With it being spring training don’t know if it was his normal grip on it or was he trying something out. But If he had better command of the Fastball he could have easily gone another inning maybe 2.

NBA just announced that they are suspending the season

Yall better get ready for MLB to do the same

MLB said it has no plans to do that at this time. Spring and regular season games will continue with fans for now. They have a couple of weeks to monitor it. If a player gets it like in the NBA itll force the issue. Hard to continue the season with entire teams in quarantine.

I expect the season to get delayed because they have to shut down spring training now. Otherwise, MLB has to explain why it doesn't care enough about the well-being of its players.

We're in the cascade now.

Yep.

Just so freaking stupid. Been arguing with people about it all day because they believe all this crap the media and government is pushing. Just ridiculous.

Conservative politicians inexplicably ran a smear campaign against a *disease* over fears that it would hurt the President's re-election chances. So, anyone arguing that is Rudy Gobert and not worth your time.

Cancelling all sporting events will not prevent the spread of the virus. The only way to prevent the spread of the virus is to lock everyone in their homes. People are still going to work, school, out to eat, and many other things and players are doing those same things and can contract the virus through those means. Cancelling sporting events is a dramatic overreaction that will not solve the problem.

But, what do you do if one player becomes infected? The rest of the team would have to be quarantined. How do you proceed with the schedule? That's the scenario playing out in the NBA right now. You also cant risk one person going to a stadium full of 40,000 people and spreading germs everywhere. It might not solve it but it helps contain it. The quicker we contain it the quicker we get back to normal.

It's legitimately the only choice. There's no solving this problem, only limiting the number of potential carriers. Gatherings of that size are the oversized equivalent of children's flu parties.

Ok, so we cancel all sporting events and we slow the spread of the virus but we don't prevent it. What happens once the virus is "contained"? Where is it going to be contained to? How long until life gets back to normal after the virus has been contained? I saw someone today say we're looking at 6 months or no sports. 6 ******* months!! Just cancel 2020 and we'll try again in 2021. Nothing to do now but sleep. Glad I wasted money buying tickets for a game I can't attend on July 4th weekend.

Reports are already coming out that the virus severely slows down in the humid months. Come the middle of April the virus will probably start slowing down
