Beef
Updating this from my earlier thread now that we have a completed/final 2020 recruiting class after NSD. On top of their star rankings I'm adding their year status as well. Again, this is all just fun speculation. I've surely made some mistakes and poor guesses, so let's have some discussion on what those might be. OL, for instance, is always a debate. None of us really has a clue who's playing where on the OL, but it's fun to discuss. And yes, I'm putting all the freshmen at/near the back of the depth chart until they prove they can beat out the vets. Enjoy! OFFENSE: QB: Newman(3*GT) | Beck(4*FR) | Mathis(4*RS/FR) | Bennett(3*JR) | Priestley(2*RS/FR) | Kirksey(3*TR/SO) | Muschamp(3*FR) RBS: White(5*RS/SO) | Edwards(4*FR) RBF: McIntosh(4*SO) | Milton(4*FR) RBC: Cook(4*JR) WRX: Pickins(5*SO) | Robinson(4*FR) | Bush(4*RS/SO) | Landers(3*JR) WRS: Jackson(4*RS/SO) | Burton(4*FR) | McConkey(3*FR) TE/HB: McKitty(3*GT) | Goede(4*RS/FR) RT: Salyer(5*JR) | Condon(3*RS/SO) | Ratledge(4*FR) RG: Shaffer(3*SR) | McClendon(4*RS/FR) | Blaske(3*FR) - if Shaffer is healthy C: Ericson(4*RS/SO) | Webb(5*RS/FR) | Van Pran(4*FR) | Kinnie(3*FR) LG: Hill(4*JR) | Webb(5*RS/FR) | Lindberg(4*FR) | Willock(3*FR) LT: Cleveland(4*SR) | Truss(4*RS/FR) | Jones(5*FR) TE/Y: Fitzpatrick(4*RS/SO) | Washington(5*FR) | Seither(3*RS/FR) WRY: Robertson(5*TR/SR) | A. Salyer played RT vs Baylor and was great. I really think he sticks at RT this season. Ericson played RG vs Baylor and did great, but Shaffer would have surely started there if he didn't have the neck injury. Trey really needs to move to LG. It's his normal position and he's had issues snapping and then executing his assignment. Clay does not want to play Center, he wants to play Guard, and I think he redshirted for this reason. Ericson was on the 2-deep at both guard and center, so it's likely either he or Trey. But SVP is a beast and could be playing Center before we know it. Those typically won’t be released until a day or two before the first spring practice. Unless some of the players release it themselves
