32wood84white
I was hoping there would be a pinned thread on Salary Cap. There’s a lot of folks that understand it for the most part and have an idea of what cuts would save x amount of money and so on. Is there a website this information can be found or would someone be nice enough to break down(again) what cutting some players like Tru, Free and guys like that would save us cap wise? ATLSlobberKnockers
Trufant is basically a.16m cap hit with 10m dead cap if cut or traded. Freeman in a 9.5m cap hit with a 6 m dead cap if cut or traded 6/1 cuts mean nothing until a new CBA

Wouldn't be surprised if it's similar for Tru, though he has more value obviously. Over the cap has us just above 5 million in cap space. If cutting them saves us 9.5 million, that’s a nice chunk. Rings
Two main ones I use are Over the Cap, let’s you cut players and see how it impacts the cap. https://overthecap.com/calculator/atlanta-falcons/ Other good one is Spotrac. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/atlanta-falcons/cap/ Both have different features that are nice. 32wood84white, JD dirtybird21, FalconsIn2012 and 1 other

Someday soon
Trade Tru and cut Freeman if needed. Helps a little this year but frees up a ton of cap room for 2021. ATLSlobberKnockers

I just don't see what he brings at this point that no one else on the roster cant. Tru Would create a need. He had a good season and I'm just not sure we.could replace him in f.a. For less than the 6m he cost. I'd keep Tru next season. After this year he will be an easy cut since he will save almost.13m for 2021.
