There is a ton of RB talent this year. Its a waste of our first pick

We don’t draft UGA players in general, let alone in the first, let alone at RB (we haven’t drafted a Back before the 3rd in decades)

I agree. I think what people fail to realize is what better way to protect Matt Ryan than run the ball well. What is the best way to run the ball well? Have a guy that's a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. Guys like that don't last long in the draft even at the RB position. I think there's a strong possibility the Falcons could go RB early. If they don't, why select one at all. Don't they have enough mediocre RB's already?

All this said, Kinlaw is my favorite 1st round pick for the Falcons. I figured I'd try something different that has a good possibility of happening.

The Falcons drafted two OL in round 1 last year. They probably have never done that in their entire existence. It's the draft, anything can happen.

Yes, how dare people get caught up on drafting the least impactful position in the first round when we have many more pressing needs, like pass rusher, corner, or any defensive position for that matter.

Swift? The Falcons Organization runs from draftibg UGA Bulldogs no matter the regime.

I do not believe that The Falcons can afford to wait until Round-2 to draft a DE.

They won't start a 2nd rounder at DE.

Maybe, rhey trade-up for a second pick/selection Round pick.

Both will likely be gone before Falcons picks in each round unfortunately. I would be very okay with those picks though if a miracle happened!
