Falcons Fan MVP
If Arthur Blank and his hiring firm was overly impressed with Mike McCarthy or anyone else they probably would have made the change after missing the playoffs 2 years in a row even though DQ has built a good culture in the locker room. I'm sure Blank took a very close look at McCarthy (who he knew would be available) when we were 1-7 and 3-9.
1989Fan
The decision to keep Quinn didn’t have a **** thing to do with overrated Mike McCarthy. thanat0s
Quinn being retained had nothing to with McCarthy, or any other coach besides Quinn and the second half performance of the team. ROMERO, Geneaut, vitaman and 4 others
HouseofEuphoria
McCarthy got all emotional in the video of his potential return to coaching. Personally, I'd like a guy with a little more intestinal fortitude. That being said, i think he's what Dallas needs. So Dallas is going back to a 3-
CrimsonFalcon
Didn't hire a firm to look for a new coach this time... he knew all along that he was keeping Quinn. Now if he hires a firm to look for new fans that might be interesting Rings, GreggT, Atl Falcon and 3 others

Division title is not out of the question. Falcons Fan MVP

octoslash
Mike McCarthy is a little bit better than Jason Garrett, but that's not what Dallas needs. Anybody who thinks this is a great hire that's going to put Dallas in the Super Bowl is nuts. We've already dabbled in bringing back ex coordinators and it hasn't worked out for us yet.

Although they'll spend more time in nickel. DeMarcus Lawrence and Robert Quinn(if he returns to Dallas next season) are better suited as 4-3 ends.
