Made a comment the other day saying TE’s are gonna become a luxury over these high priced WR’s soon, especially with WR’s getting QB money. Guys like Kittle, Kelce and Kittle, even Hooper to an extent, will be coming into the league often within the next few years imo. Times are changing. I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. TEs like Gronk and Kittle that can block and catch are way more valuable than any WR. I think Belichick saw that, which is why he paid Gronk and Hernandez and usually goes cheap on WRs. Same with the eagles. Tribal Chief, Charles Wright, PapaJoe and 4 others

Watch and see. It’s why I want Hooper signed. In a few years, 9-10 million for a top 5 TE will be a steal as the market and value on TE’s goes up. Receivers value are inflated atm which will cause a market correction. Watch and see. They aren’t getting paid again, it’s the lowest paid position group in football. There are four top heavy above 10mil and by #10 your half that. Melvin Ingram held out, didn’t get his pay day and lost carries to a UDFA. Run game still matters 100%, as does defense, but Titans had the 16th ranked D in the league this year, New England’s offense was just not good down the stretch this year...they lost to Miami in week 17 that would guarantee them a bye. The Titans scored 14 points on offense and Vikings offense scored 20 in regulation. That offensive output won’t cut it vs Baltimore and San Fran, whom they both face next and are about to be destroyed by two high powered offenses this weekend, and after that everyone will have a new talking point next week on what it takes to win in this league. Happens every year during wild card weekend because the four best teams don’t play, then divisional round happens and everyone remembers what good actually looks like again. Faithful Falcon
We ran the ball good in the first game vs N.O. keep in mind, they blitz like 80% of the time. Running the ball well will kill their defense. If they didn't have Davis to clean up a lot of busted plays, they wouldn't have won as many games. Turnovers and STs; “mistakes”, forced or otherwise, can be the determining factor. I wonder...I wonder what our average drive on offense was weeks 1-7 in terms of plays & TOP and correlating that to Seattle game and onward? It seemed we ball controlled more but also hit a RZ plummet; worse even than Sark 2027 2nd half? Gotta find that balance in protecting the defense and setting the tone. Neither side helped the other first half of the year. Suddenly, even tho the offense struggled win RZ TD scoring % down the stretch we played complimentary football. Next year should be: run game on O, overturn on D, and Turnover margins/STs is key too (Koo and Allen at K/P) Lotta work to do. Arthur probably woulda fired DQ if we had younger Matt and Julio BUT he has a chance to on job improve as HC. My biggest gripe has been instability at OC and DC; off the field. It's playoff football bro. It's rare that teams just keep dropping 30+ points on teams like we did in 2016.
