Grady - Julio Second Team All Pro

Recommended Posts

Okay, how the heck did Hopkins take first team all pro? He had a bit over 1,100 yards and 7 TDs on 6 more receptions than Julio. Julio had nearly 1,400 yards and 6 TDs on a tad under 100 catches. Julio had the better season.

Nice to see Grady get some love at least though.

Marcus Peters dam sure redeemed himself after being traded to Baltimore. I was starting to think his career was ruined with the Rams

I’ve never been a Peters fan. Dude got burned all day but a lot of people turned a blind eye because he got INTs while on the chiefs. Then he went to the Rams and just flat out sucked. Going to the Ravens is the best thing that could’ve happened to him. He’s got a great safety to help him out as well as just an overall really good secondary. He’s balling this year for sure. Ironically, the Rams got another overrated CB who ended up just playing around average this year *cough Ramsey cough*.

I’m gonna guess and say it’s because Hop has , a higher catch percentage, 1 less fumble. They were pretty much identical in every way except yards and average

Houston is in the playoffs.  Atlanta isn't.

Sad truth.

Maybe it’s cuz I’m obviously biased, but I don’t even remember Hopkins having any signature moments this year. People bring up the Pats game, but he only had 5 catches for 64 yards. Julio at least had two games that people would remember, against Philly and San Fran. Hopkins really didn’t wow at all this year imo.

CMC made first team over D Henry and Henry won the rushing title - CMC's team basically quit down the stretch and Henry's team is in the playoffs so theres that.

CMC also had a monster year.  There are certain performances that just can't go unrecognized.

CMCs season was basically undeniable though, as it was the maybe best RB season we’ve seen since AP in 2012. I’d say Barrett’s should’ve been undeniable as well though, didn’t he lead the league in sacks? Not to mention he had 5 more sacks than TJ Watt, who took his place on the first team.

Me don’t know. I don’t really put much stock in these anyway so I guess I’m the wrong person to offer an opinion. These lists only help a players HOF bid and their pay day lol

Maybe playoffs play a part, but he has been the sack leader and being dominant, not like Beasley in 2016. I agree giving the mvp to a player on a winning team but being a first team all pro has to do with your play on the field imo

Voting is flawed man, always has been always will be.
