Tribal Chief
Lol they only wanted the spotlight all to themselves. Was nothing respectful and caring about that. They knew they were going to fire him after the Patriot loss. The only thing they did was delay him interviewing for the Giants position. 1989Fan, Francis York Morgan, Ergo Proxy and 2 others
ATLSlobberKnockers
Wtf? He isn't a teenage girl, just sack him. I'd hate to be handled like they're afraid I'll freak out and shoot up the place.

1989Fan
1. Jones’ arent being gentle nor is he doing any favors to Garrett. A quick no is better, let him pursue other options. They are screwing him really, if they move in from him. 2. Blank wouldn’t do the same. McKay had to talk him out of firing Quinn before the first Saints game. It has been written. 3. F*** the Cowboys RING OF HONOR

Firing him this late into the week was bs but that was Jerry being Jerry. He had the headlines all to himself and now all eyes will be on who the next coach is. 1989Fan
he is basically a free agent. I think his contract expires in January...he def doesn’t have more years left. basically if Jerry “fires” him, it’s just a childish move so he can say “no, I broke up w him first”

If I was someone like Urban Meyer, I would have it written in a clause in my contract that Jerry and his son would have to stay far away from any team personnel decisions. Otherwise taking that Cowboys HC job would be a huge no. No way in **** Jerruh would agree to that so it would just be a huge no regardless lol. In reality that's all he can do dealing with Jerry and his stable of yes men. Garrett is basically the head cheerleader for the Cowboys. To be honest, I don't see exactly where Garrett goes from here when he's officially fired because his reputation has been damaged quite a bit and he has to go somewhere that will allow him to repair it. Garrett may actually be a really good HC when he isn't hamstrung by a controlling ownership. Tribal Chief

I’ve always called him Coach Clap myself lol. just a few days ago it was reported the Giants were interested in him and once that news hit the delays in relieving him of his title begin. I think he will land a high profile gig, even if it’s OC. He’s a good guy and a good coach but when you have Hitler hanging over your shoulders every other minute it’s gonna be difficult to do your job. I would hope that whoever hires him for whatever position realizes that. papachaz and DonDaLuvMaker
