We’ve won 9 of our last 13 I think.. some just choose to find something to complain about.. even while we’re winning.. because “we all know what’s going to happen in October”..

I wish I knew what was going to happen in October. I need to make trick or treating plans if we're doing the whole Halloween thing. I need more certainty in my life.

I’d wonder more why they’re here and not betting millions somewhere.

Last night, the Atlanta Braves scored 29 runs. As we think back on this farce of a season, this game will be what we remember most, at least from the regular season.

Also, it's probably time to look at this deal in a new light:

"After Monday night's 5-3 win over the Marlins, the Braves announced they acquired Duvall from the Reds for outfielder Preston Tucker and right-handed pitchers Matt Wisler and Lucas Sims."

As I type this, Sims has an ERA of 2.12 after 17 innings with the Reds this year. Duvall might get MVP votes.

When Duvall came to the Braves in 2018, he had an OPS+ of -5 for us. That's a real thing that happened. Today, he's slugging .632.

Wisler has been pretty good in relief for the Twins as well.

Walks are still an issue for him, but he's getting into more high-leverage situations and his K/9 is around 11.

He finally got a pitching coach worth something that could bring the good out of him. Never had that in Atlanta. Could have been a top starter for us. Started out like a horse out of the gate until Barve coaches ruined him. Happy for him.
