You know, there was a discussion in yesterday’s game about wasted talent as it pertains to athletes that have their careers shortened by injury, etc.  With our keeping of kuttie we are wasting the careers of the talent we have on this team, I think that is what makes this so hard to swallow.  If we just sucked or were just “ok” like we have been for most of my lifetime as a fan that is one thing, but to have to continue to watch such an ineptitude in coaching week in and week out is what makes this sooooo hard to endure.

I have minimal confidence Dirk can get this offense to its full potential.

But there's just so many other concerns/questions that I have.

How are they going to address the LG spot? What about the piss poor play in preseason every year? How about NOT starting 1-7? Can we survive a 3 or 4 game losing streak? Can the defense carry over their success from the last couple months to next season? Will Quinn have them ready to play week 1? What about against the AFC opponents? Will we continue to improve on penalties? Will guys continue to do their jobs instead of freelancing?

This isn't just on Koetter and DQ taking on too much earlier in the season. Quinn can say all he wants how much he's learned from this season but I have legit concerns because we have deeper issues that have been present in the entire Quinn era so far.
