I think we're all gonna be okay.

Even tho I’d be ok with TD getting canned....keeping DQ means keeping TD. Honestly I can’t blame AB for retaining both based on the second half of the season.  I think we build on it and become a much better team next yr from the get go. We need to upgrade the DL and pass rush and make a run next yr. I think we’re close.

They’ll have the ceiling of a second round team at best. Not a SB caliber team but a tier below.

One thing that always runs through my mind is that all it takes is making the playoffs, and then JJ, Garrett, and Ryan just nutting up for 3 games.

Well, if we build on what we had this past couple months, we won’t be horrible. I can’t watch, but I’ll catch up again. Koetter ball is just irksome for me, the defense...lol.

Anyways, still a contender. Without running the ball though...meh.

I'm getting the feeling DQ, and DK, learned that they need to shake things up on offense.

I could be 100% wrong but any intelligent coach should be able to sit and see what went wrong vs. right and build on it. Shanny did.

I think for Koetter's system to work he needs a darn good OL, those 5 or 7 step drops kill u when u cant protect. What's most concerning is the lack of creativity and stubbornness. Even with a great OL tho i think he throws the ball 70% of the time, which in many cases is just not tje right thing to do.

I still wouldn’t be thrilled. I literally hate everything about his game

I can't stand the "just beat the guy a across from you" mantra that he seems to live by. Coach, boss, mentor, whatever, you're #1 job is to put people in a position to succeed. He is the antithesis of that. I get the consistency thing people are hoping, but what's good about consistent mediocrity? Good Lord.

Still not convinced Koetter is here next year. If he is, he better incorporate more misdirection and motion and let Mularkey try and build an actual run game. Otherwise they'll be borderline unwatchable again

I’m sure he’ll be here unless my Tide takes him

Personally, I think Koetter is better than most here give him credit for. However, there is definitely some validity to the complaint regarding the long developing plays. Ryan is a great QB, BUT, he is HORRIBLE at throwing the deep ball. When he throws deep passes, they seem to be 50/50 type situations, and that is not good. Too many times, the ball is late, and the defense is given a chance to defend the play. Ryan needs to release it sooner, or don’t throw it, because he doesn’t throw that ball well.
