anyone know what Sheffield has been clocked at? Debo is pretty fast too, OZ probably in the top of the list for our guys too.

and let's not forget, Matt Ryan was clocked at just over 17 mph in a game this year

If you just watch Matt Ryan he looks like he's really movin'. If you watch the whole picture with people around him he's barely movin'.

Chase Goodbread of NFL.com ranked Sheffield as the fastest player in college football when he ranked the top 18 players. Here’s what he had to say about Atlanta’s newest cornerback:

“The Buckeyes' two-sport star is next in line among the parade of NFL draft prospects from the Ohio State defensive backs room. But on the track, he's fearsome as well,” Goodbread said. “Sheffield broke OSU's 60-meter dash indoor record earlier this year with a time of 6.663 seconds. That's the fastest 60 time of any player listed here. The former Alabama player, who had a one-year stop in junior college in between, broke up nine passes last season. That was the second-most on the team to Denzel Ward, who was selected fourth overall by the Cleveland Browns in this year's draft. Word from the OSU staff is that Sheffield is every bit as fast as Ward, who tied for the fastest 40-yard-dash time (4.32) of anyone at the NFL Scouting Combine this year.”

If I were a betting man, my money would be on Sheffield.

He was a track star, and broke the schools all time record for the 60 meter.

It’s Sheffield.   But he wasn’t even the fastest on his team.  Sheffield maxed out at 21.4 mph which is blistering.  Tops in the NFL IS Brenda at 22.3 mph

Meanwhile, Ohio State cornerback and future top 5 pick, Okudah, hit 23.7 mph which is Deion Sanders or Marquese Goodwin speed...and Goodwin is an Olympic qualifier in the 100m

I am not questioning your word, but are you sure Matt Ryan hit 17 mph?  Somehow, I cannot visualize him moving that fast.

LoL
