The NFL Needs to make a separate cap for the QB, so teams with young QBs in their first contract don't have such a cap advantage. Even better allow teams to have two non QBs one on offense the other defense with premier player caps that doesn't  count against the regular cap, amount to be determined.

Let team spend their cap how they choose..wanna spend 30% on one player...have at it.

The NFL is trending away from franchise qb's.. we just got caught up with a very average one and its going to hurt us in the end as far as having a chance to win championships.. Hopefully if we can get a new gm that understands how the league is functioning now we will be able to bounce back.. but right now the opportunity to win championships just isnt thier for us

How? What QBs have switched teams recently? Who's hitting free agency? The answer is almost nobody because teams keep their QBs.

What does this have to do with anything? If teams aren't letting QBs walk then the NFL isn't trending away from franchise QBs, period.

You didn't answer the question actually. I asked you how the NFL is trending away from franchise QBs. You responded with some jibberish.

Ill ask you again, how is the NFL trending away from franchise QBs? Spell it out for us smart guy.

I would imagine it's teams who have top tier franchise qb's like brady, ben, eli, rodgers, rivers, brees, ryan, and almost stafford.   Those are franchise qb's that actually give you a chance to compete and win a sb.  Russel Wilson will be in this category very soon as well because he will be there for the long haul.  Every single team that has a top tier qb that is a top 5 to 8 qb will always keep and pay him.  So thank you for proving that we are doing the exact same thing as what most teams would do by paying a franchise to almost elite level qb.

Can you understand successful young qb's seem to be taking over the league? Dont play dumb, you're smarter than this

Take away Rivers, eli, Ben and Stafford because we all know they are on the decline and your argument leaves about 3 qb's and proves my point

Dosnt matter if they do resign them.. They will still under archive just like Eli and Rivers.. So you prove nothing other than younger qb's are more successful

Super bowl winning QBs and their age

2018 - Tom Brady age 41

2017 - Nick Foles age 28

2016 - Tom brady age 39

2015 - Peyton Manning age 39

2014 - Tom Brady age 37

Young guys straight taking over the place yo!
