I’d agree with that. Tennessee went 5/5 today with their prospects and I believe they got some real talent. Now to go develop them and do it all over again next year.

yep that is the biggest difference for sure.. florida went 0 for 5 today and the vols went 5/5..  definately understandable the different reactions.. you guys are a winner on ESD and florida is considered losers per 247.  if mullen isn't careful the vols will replace the gators as the toughest sec east competition for the title.  mullen imo has failed in wrs and rbs.  they need both and getting no rb and 1 wr is a bit fat failure right now..

USC screwed up period.. Helton is a dead man walking and they showed him no public support all year long with boosters undercutting him.. they should have fired him.. that is the worst class in the history of USC at this point.. i can't believe just how stupid UCS admnistration and boosters are.

Cristobal will end up with back to back #1 classes in the pac-12.. that is important when it comes to the playoff.. the pac-12 must get a signature program to be relevant every year nationally.. since usc isn't up to the task then it has to be oregon.. utah doesn't at all tip the meter IMO.

If christobal gets that thing rolling at Oregon they could potentially be dynasty level good simply due to the fact that there’s no competition on the west coast for recruits. They could lock down the west coast like LSU locked down Louisiana when Saban and miles were in their prime.

Oregon is about to become “Clemson Pacific” with automatic bid to the Final 4.   Maybe not in 2020 - but soon

Yeah, Cristobal already has that thing rolling. Hes getting any talent he wants. If you watched the Pac 12 title game you witnessed what that team can already do. They just blew the doors off Utah. It wont be the Chip Kelly teams that got overpowered either. Cristobal brought a tough minded, very physical approach to Eugene.

Oregon will still need to have a respectable schedule outside of the conference though (Signature win), and having the Pac12 field some decent out-of-conference performances (wins) would be a big boost. Without those two factors it's going to remain an uphill battle to get into CFP.  I think they can do it, just saying they have some challenges to get there, and then stay at that level.

Once Oregon is loading class after class, there will likely be some fall off, when recruits start realizing how deep the depth chart is and they can play somewhere else.

that is the key for them to maintain what they are doing for a long time.. if they can lockdown some areas and keep getting that talent they will be a playoff team maybe yearly just due to how bad overall the pac12 is.. it's going to be quite interesting to see if stanford can come back and if oregon state continues to improve.  lsu is really another great year away from shutting down louisiana to alabama.. cecil hurt talked about that today and alabama struggled in lousisiana for the first time in years.. they only guy they got out was an rb lsu didn't want.  Coach O went out of his way to combat recruits that bama wanted.  if ed o can do what les miles used to do and cristobal does the same thing it's going to be nasty for years with those 2 programs nationally.

Oregon schedules well. They play Ohio State in 2020 and 2021. UGA gets Oregon in 2022

No doubt; however, they're going to need wins in those to truly have a strong position; lose and they are going to need to dominate the Pac12, and the conference be respectable also.

No they don’t.   They just have to go undefeated.

All they have to do is get in once and then they get the golden ticket every year regardless of schedule. That and stay in the top 5-10 in recruiting every year.

They can dominate the Pac 12. Always going to be tough with only 4 slots. One day a 12-1 P5 champ will miss the CFP.

I have had a chance to visit a few of the LSU boards and if you get a chance, go take a look!

They are in full melt over signing day. Claiming that they really didn't need that WR GA flipped from them, or the over players that teams flipped players yesterday from them. In fact pretty much saying they got all the players they need to repeat next what they did this year.

I have a question? What about a QB?

They also can't help themselves from talking about how badly they beat Bama and GA, really, it's time to move on, your next game is OU,not Bama or GA.

Bunch of stinking Corndogs!!

The best is Voltiger on the LSUrb posted immediately after Jarrett flipped that they had to push him out to keep Burton.  It had 90 replies but got whacked.  They all bought into him being an insider and then they went 2/5 on their big prospects.
