Didn’t really know where to put this but what the heck   I laughed   https://247sports.com/college/florida/board/14/Contents/gif-that-summarizes-the-day-140782082/?page=1

Biggest recruit in Kentucky history

I have had a chance to visit a few of the LSU boards and if you get a chance, go take a look! They are in full melt over signing day. Claiming that they really didn't need that WR GA flipped from

Apparently not as well as the fans thought they were going to do. Or were hinted to that it would be.

that gap never got close and is only getting wider Danny Boy

wiltfong on mullen:

"Florida: We thought the Florida Gators could be a big winner of the day with multiple possible flips on the table. Nope. No new commits, either, including the loss of Bloomingdale (Ga.) New Hampstead receiver Sam Brown to West Virginia! This is obviously still a strong class, checking in at No. 8, but the biggest difference between Dan Mullen’s staff and rival Kirby Smart’s at Georgia is the closing power."

shows the difference between fan bases expectations:  florida fans are irate of a failure of a day even with a top 8 class.. tennessee fans are happy a class that is 15th.. lol

Maybe it’s the perception of one stagnant or declining even and the other showing a glimmer of improvement?

With Barry Odom in the bag, Pittman was able to flip a lot of Missouri commits today. Pittman also flipped 4* safety Myles Slusher from Oregon. Slusher came to visit Arkansas last week. Slusher had been committed to Oregon since April.

Will be interesting to see if Pittman will come for Broderick Jones and SVP.

USC kept Helton and they came out of today with the worst class in the Pac 12. They lost recruiting battles to Oregon State and Wazzu. Things are far from ok in LA.

Cristobal is mopping up at Oregon though. Hes getting a lot of the elite guys on the west coast. He took Bama's recruiting methods out there and is building a monster.

Or 9th.

you guys aren't 9th (yeah i know rivals..lol) .. no offense meant, but the composite is more accurate IMO with you guys at 15.. the point still is the difference in the reaction from 2 fan bases is just interesting.. i think if a class is top 15 that's a good class and I think both teams should be happy with their overall class despite florida having a horrible day today.. it's all about perspective and florida fans don't have any.. i think after a decade plus of not being relevant I think tennessee fans are appreciating stuff more now then they have in the past..  also after your horrible start any good news is appreciated by the vols..  florida on the other hand remembers the meyer years and so desperately want to be that program again.

USC screwed up period.. Helton is a dead man walking and they showed him no public support all year long with boosters undercutting him.. they should have fired him.. that is the worst class in the history of USC at this point.. i can't believe just how stupid UCS admnistration and boosters are.

Cristobal will end up with back to back #1 classes in the pac-12.. that is important when it comes to the playoff.. the pac-12 must get a signature program to be relevant every year nationally.. since usc isn't up to the task then it has to be oregon.. utah doesn't at all tip the meter IMO.

very true.. but i commented above my opinion.. florida fans want to be the meyer gators again and anything less is not good enough.. the vols are celebrating anything positive since they have had a horrible run the past 10 plus years.

pittman still has a ton of work to do.. the lack of commitments is so dang tough for him with just a week or so to go  til ESD.. thank goodness for barry odom.. pittman can win with him.. i hope he hires briles as well.

I’d agree with that. Tennessee went 5/5 today with their prospects and I believe they got some real talent. Now to go develop them and do it all over again next year.
