December 2019 Early Signing Period Updates for all teams not named Georgia.

Recommended Posts

there is a lot of information on other teams that may be followed on this board that isn't georgia.  We have our own 2019 ESD Thread.  A few rumors I will post:

Looks like both Timmy Smith and Donell Harris will flip to Florida.. smith is committed to bama and harris is committed to a&m..

Rakim Jarret is not signing early.

Didn’t really know where to put this but what the heck   I laughed   https://247sports.com/college/florida/board/14/Contents/gif-that-summarizes-the-day-140782082/?page=1

Biggest recruit in Kentucky history

I have had a chance to visit a few of the LSU boards and if you get a chance, go take a look! They are in full melt over signing day. Claiming that they really didn't need that WR GA flipped from

Bama just picked up 2 4* RBs

1. Kyle Edwards, LA

2. Roydell Williams, AL

That loss of TE to aubarn hurts, but I have faith Saban has someone else in the pipeline.

the only TE you are in on now is washington and he is heading to UGA..  so it will have to be a C option..  that's one position you guys have missed out on this cycle.. everyone expected arik gilbert to end up at bama, but he went to LSU instead.. you guys did load up on rbs though.. you haven't done very well in that area, but this year you are loading up.

timmy smith is a uf/bama battle..  it's going to be interesting for sure..

bama lost out to auburn for their backup TE option with plegues (spelling)..  auburn also picked up tisdol.  bama is hurting at TE right now..

I was thinking Saban might have a TE on the board and we have a hard commit from Caden Clark. He is a 6-3.5, 245lb 3* TE out of Ohio. Certainly isn't that other guy, but still not a bad pick up.

right now you guys need some TEs that are passing threats and caden really isn't that.. you guys took caden as a body to make sure you did get a TE.. your top targets were theo johnson, washington, and arik gilbert as pass catching TEs and you guys missed on all 3..  we have the exact opposite issue we need 2 TEs and we are getting washington which is awesome.  however we really need a 2nd te so i can see us going the transfer portal route like we did this year with eli wolfe.  TE recruiting is very interesting in general..not a lot of great options yearly so you need to hit your top targets.

We singed him in 2018 and might have signed him as a blocking TE, but I was just reading a article about the improvements he has made during his senior year, I still can't post links, so I copied part of what it said about him.

GAME NOTES: Clark put in some serious weight work this spring after gaining weight in the winter. Not only is he slimmed down and faster, but he is even stronger at the lower weight. Add it all up and Clark is a much better player as a senior and one of the more improved players in the state of Ohio. Against St. Ignatius, one of the top programs in the Midwest, Clark was devastating as a blocker in his H-back role. After playing as an in-line tight end last season, Clark is being moved around more and he is proving to be excellent as a lead blocker. As a pass receiver, he caught everything thrown his way and they probably should have gotten him the ball even more. He is playing the best football of his career and is in the mix for a rating's bump

Lol so much for LSU getting errbody this year. They just lost 5 star STUD receiver Rakim Jarrett to... *checks notes* not Tennessee but *shuffles papers* Maryland.

this bama thread is hilarious.. hank homer south and tim we will get everyone watts told the guys they would flip rakim, but they lost out on their top wrs targets in smith, rakim, and bouette.

This Jaiden Francois recruitment is crazy,,

Kid was about to sign with Miami and it sounds like Manny Diaz called him at his ceremony in front of all of his family and friends and pulled the offer. Crazy stuff.

There is a guy using periscope to video the whole thing.

This had my blood boiling until I read the following:

Quote

Francois, after committing and decommitting from Miami twice, announced he was signing with the Cornhuskers over the Hurricanes at a Wednesday morning ceremony at his school during college football’s Early Signing Period.

He still appeared to be mulling his decision on Wednesday morning at the ceremony as he was seen, on a live feed provided by Rivals’ CaneSport.com, twice leaving the ceremony to have a private discussion with his family in an adjacent hallway after taking a phone call. The ceremony at South Dade was delayed nearly an hour from its scheduled 9 a.m. start.

Upon his return, with a Miami hat on the table, Francois unbuttoned his black button-down shirt to reveal he had a Nebraska shirt underneath.
