Dude was an animal last night.  He, Vic & Clay gave the 49ers fits all night.  And since the NFL won’t do it, I’ll do it:
      • the stats say Jarrett has 5.5 sacks, but we know the truth

Grady Jarrett Sacks: 7

Still not sure which QB's you are allowed to tackle and where you can tackle them. DT's by nature are close to the ground. How are they supposed to get sacks?

The penalty on Jarrett even had 49ers forum saying the refs were trying to hand them a win

The fact the Falcons beat the 49ers was impressive in itself.  The fact that the Falcons beat the 49ers AND the refs was VERY impressive!

If the Falcons had to get rid of EVERY single player that they had with one exception, I would take GJ over everybody else in a second....

You are allowed to tack Ryan on any part of the body and at any point.....you could tackle him in tbe parking lot and it not be a foul.

Splitting sacks and tackles is also the dumbest thing.  I get they want to make it all add up to equal the total at the end, but come on.  Crap like this is why basic stats are misleading.  Grady beats a double team and gets to the QB and gets a half sack while someone else who is unblocked or chases a QB out of bounds behind the line of scrimmage gets a full sack.  Doesn't make sense to me.  A sack is a sack...give them a whole number.

The refs did everything that they could....right up until the end

The Bears game was brutal too, I forget what game it was also but there was a face mask called that was shoulder pad.  It's getting worse as the season goes on.  We are building up to another huge controversy in the playoffs, I can smell it.

Great point.  If they stop to regain balance they are either getting washed out of play, knocked down or QB is moving.  But that rule was put in place by someone coming up the middle low on Carson Palmer, so I get it, but they have to find a way to use better judgement on players getting blocked into them.  I think they just saw where Grady ended up vs. where he initially hit him and then slid down.

He doesn’t get nearly the respect he deserves.

These refs & the league should be ashamed of themselves for what’s become a disgusting & pathetic attempt to ruin this game under the guise of player safety.

I have no problem with safety but the league has these refs losing their minds with paranoid, outrageous pansy calls.

Don’t let this flag blind you to the fact we’ll enable Rodgers or 49ers to win more because their fan bases are huge and get everyone more revenue when they do well. Falcons???
