Ergo Proxy
Shout out to Julio for bailing out the refs, who screwed over Hooper, and the OL with our rookie right side finally together! falconfansince66
Classic "Matty Ice". Just when you thought he'd pulled it off and to see another one slip away, MR2 to JJ11 and TD despite the refs not wanting to see that happen! likeriver
That was about the most perfect game winning drive you could ever want. -Grueling defensive game against the best defense in the league -You're 4-9 going against an 11-2 team -1:40 on the clock with only 1 timeout. - You need a touchdown. - Driving downfield, doing whatever you can to move the chains. - With 8 seconds left you score the game winning touchdown but the mafia refs tell you to suck a **** and do it again. - With 5 seconds left You score the game winning touchdown AGAIN to close out the game Best 2 minutes of Falcons football since 2016. Got the ball out instead of taking a sack that would’ve essentially ended the game as well. That was huge. AUTiger7222
Matt Ryan is on pace to set a new career high in rushing yards this year. 1. 145 (2014) 2. 143 (2017) T-3. 141 (2012) T-3. 141 (2019) Ergo Proxy, mikeg272, thanat0s and 3 others

NCFalconfan
The snubbing/lack of recognition by the sports media as a whole against Ryan is as laughable as it is sad. If the guy played in NY or Boston he'd be a first ballot HOF no questions asked. AUTiger7222, Atl Falcon, FalconJim and 5 others

Of course, very few high rushing QB's last past 30 years old and usually that is only when they stop rushing. Ryan is much like that great family car that will last well past his loan years as opposed to the sports car that will spend its time largely in the shop and be worthless by the time the loan is paid off. FalconJim
Damm, I knew he was good, but THAT GOOD?!?!?!?! That's some very elite company right there. I think, all "Matty Ice" needs now, is a SB Victory, continue to add to his legacy until retirement, and he'll be a 1st Ballot Hall Of Famer!!! theDIRTYcode
Ryan is the greatest Falcon ever and it's not even close. If we take a knee 3 times and kick a field goal, he has a ring. As much as that saddens me, I'm glad to have been a part of MR2s career from beginning to end. Ergo Proxy

He has almost twice the rushing yards of Drew Breese, he has more yards than Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Payton Manning. He is a much more effective runner than Brett Favre was at his age. It's hilarious that he has gotten so much **** this year for being a statue, when the truth is he is easily one of the most effective QBs at buying time in the pocket and escaping pressure, and that has been the case since 2012. Noodle arm also is top 4 in deep pass % percentage this year BTW. Edited December 16, 2019 by Dr Long Shot

I was referring to the part about his 30th and Peyton's 30th being the almost exact same career game against the same opponent. I understand, just pointing out the fact that you look at any "youngest to achieve x stat" his name will always be next to some undisputed top 5 all time QB.
