What if the Falcons finish the season on a 4 game winning streak?

Recommended Posts

With the Falcons getting Hooper and Lindstrom back and I'm assuming Julio there is a decent chance the "good Falcons" that we saw after the bye week could show up again. Let's say the Falcons finish the season on an impressive four game winning streak looking very impressive in each game on both sides of the ball. (There was a thread made on here about how we have more talent in most positions than SF so don't be shocked if we beat them.) Do you think we bring everyone(coaches/front office) back next year? Or do you think someone/every one is still get fired? Don't put it past the Falcons to finish the season on a hot streak.

People on this board still think we are better than SF.  SMH.

Would depend on the degree of domination that we see in those 4 games. Falcons under DQ won the final 3 games last year...and that mometum carried over to the 2019 season like a lead balloon.

Unless we see total domination...DQ is gone...and he's probably gone anyway. All the coaches under him are gone as well.

Where is the evidence that the Falcons have all this "talent"?

Yeah we have a few good skill players, but really...besides Grady on defense, who is this mythical "talent"?  Our line is below average, our linebackers too; Deion Jones should be on a milk carton since his return late last season.  Rico Allen is good but not nearly pro bowl caliber.

And on offense, we have Julio and Ridley.  Gage is a good enough #3, okay.  Hooper is one of the better tight ends, but that's not saying much really.  And we have absolute mediocrity at running back.

All of them add up to probably about the same number of 'star' players as just about every other team in the NFL can boast.

So, to summarize...who are all these great "talents" besides who I listed?

Lol who has Quinn showed that he can out coach ?

Everyone in the playoffs. Sean Payton. Tbh plenty of guys, but he's part of the complacency culture too. Play hard as the underdog, take too many teams lightly.

Side note: I think a 4 game win streak would be funny, but realistically, we're going 4-12.

Vs Panthers: best shot we have at winning. I'll mark it a W, but we could easily lose if the Panthers come out like the Browns after firing their HC last year.

@ 49ers: we lose, but we make it stupid close considering how much worse of a team we are. Play up to the opponent.

Vs Jaguars: another loss. I'm thinking a blowout tbh. Can't beat the AFC, esp when they have a good DL. It'll be like the Titans game. Ugly.

@ Bucs: bad loss. Might make it close near the end, but we match up poorly.

If we lose the Panthers game, I fully expect to close out the season on a 6 game losing streak...or beat the 49ers for no reason, because that'd be the Falcons thing to do.

If we finish on a 4-game winning streak, it only confirms what I have felt since losing to the Bucs at home after trouncing our two far better divisional rivals in their houses.

The only consistent thing under Quinn is inconsistency. If a team can play THAT well - not surrender a touchdown for 8 quarters in hostile environments - and then absolutely collapse against inferior competition, that is not the skills of the players. That's coaching.

I like the man, but it's time to go.

It might make Thomas Dimitroff job more secure if we win out.

This is a solid question.
