Falcons Fan MVP
Weather you like Mike McCarthy or you don't like him one HUGE advantage to hiring Mike McCarthy is he is probably ahead of the game when it comes to evaluating our talent. He's probably watching our offense thinking of what he could do with all the talent. He's probably watching our defense thinking what he could do to improve it. He probably hopes like crazy he gets the call to become our head coach. He has time to think of who he'd like to bring in as our coordinators. Weather or not he'd prefer to work with Thomas Dimitroff. I would not be surprised if Arthur Blank hasn't low key called Mike McCarthy telling him he's interested in him. All the other potential head coaching candidates are busy and will have to catch up on evaluating our roster. papachaz
since he's not working for a team right now, couldn't he go ahead and hire mccarthy if he wanted to, in some role or the other? I mean if his plans are to move dan out, he could go ahead and get him here if that's who he wants. FalconJim and shock
DonDaLuvMaker
From what I saw from McCarthy in Greenbay he didn't seem like a coach who really held players accountable and put his foot in ***** when needed to. Rodgers ran all over him. People blame Quinn on here for not holding players accountable. MoFalconsFan56
I both admire and pity anyone that watches our games this year. I stopped after week 4. I know exactly what you mean. It’s almost like my fandom died tht day. Nothin but “more of the same” to look forward to. We just keep chasing Shannys ghost w these OC’s too. It’s embarrassing. We need a true rebuild and a new slogan and everything. Something to recharge the fans cuz I feel like I already know how next year is gonna turn out. Our offensive line and defensive line is a much bigger problem than Koetter.

And I still didn't like his playcalling even back then. We had a top 5 scoring defense, committed few penalties and won the games we should've won. I'm not gonna romanticize Koetter, even at his best I think we can do better. FalconJim and Francis York Morgan

Dan Quinn was SUPPOSED to be a defensive mastermind. At the time it was the right decision. Most people hated Shanahan for not running the ball in the super bowl and our defense was making a lot of progress towards the end of 2016.
