Rings
Last year he looked like he would be another Mike Vick. The insane improvement he made this year over last as a passer was what I hoped Mike would make every year and he never did. FalconAge
He is great but I clench every time he takes off. He isn't built for a pounding like Cam, and you see how even he is a shell of himself. Still, a Ravens vs 9ers Superbowl rematch would be must-see tv. KRUNKuno
Lamar Jackson is a pure indication of what an offensive coordinator is supposed to bring to the table. Could Lamar run a regular drop back qb type system...possibly Can he run the system they currently have in place that’s tailored to him? You bet your buttons he can. On a talent scale Lamar Jackson and Michael Vick are equals and I've not seen no one else with that kind of incredible talent at the QB position. I never thought Lamar would succeed in the NFL because I didn't think his passing was that good but he's proved me wrong. It also helps that Lamar has a great work ethic and drive to apply himself and improve his craft. A lot of what happened to Vick was his own fault, but some of it was Blank's fault. Firing Reeves and hiring Mora was the worst thing Blank could have done for Vick's career. It's not a surprise to me that Vick's best 2 years came under disciplinary type coaches of Dan Reeves and Andy Reid. They held him accountable. Mora just wanted to be Vick's best buddy. There was no accountability there. VTCrunkler, Emmitt, Chitown2ATL_Falcon and 4 others

Jpg428gggg
It reminds me of our Super Bowl season. Well designed offense with everyone doing their job. Look at the protection and the holes Lamar has. Receivers running wide open. Lamar is the mvp but give credit to all the guys on that offense. Have you watched him this year? I didn't think he would be relevant in 3 years after watching him last year, I didn't think there was any chance would be able to make the jump he did year over year. He has been the best running threat and went from 58% completion on 7.1 yards per attempt to 66% completion on 8.1 YPA. He's made a HUGE jump this year, and this game is only going to jump those numbers some more. Chitown2ATL_Falcon and Falconsfan567

Talk to me about Lamar Jackson in 2 or 3 more seasons. Hot take: 49ers shut them down on Sunday. THEHEADCOACH and Spts1

I haven’t seen him have to thread the needle yet. His receivers get a ton of separation.

The 49ers defense couldn't even shutdown rookie coach and QB Kyler Murray. Chitown2ATL_Falcon and Sidecar Falcon

Jerz
Lamar is elusive and quick enough to where he evades a TON of huge collisions but he still does go for those tough gritty yards which I think he should find a balance on. 2_legit_2_legit_2_quit
Running QBs were supposed to be the future of the NFL 20 years ago. There is a reason that it never materialized. Injuries and pocket passers are just better.

It would be different if they were open and had to stop and wait for the ball or something. He would be hitting those throws if someone had better coverage.
