So a bit of history for you...i was here many many years ago. Back when Rival Central was a good spot to mix it up for Bucs, Saints, Panthers ( tho not many participated ) and Falcon fans, for about a year or more. Unfortunately, i mixed it up with a poster who happened to be a mod and banned me. Banned my IP ( BankerBird ) 

for years i would test the waters to see if my ip address was released and finally this year it was. So ive been around, just not able to post up until recently. I used to enjoy Rival Central, but now its like a grave yard.

I enjoy most of y’all here, even though y’all are pigeon fans. The only poster that is mildly annoying is the one I’ve been dragging up and down “Around the NFL”, but I think they might just be a masochist for the embarrassment. 

But even if some posters here don’t like me, one thing they can’t say is that my posts are ill-thought and poorly researched. Even they know I come dropping the facts.

But I’ve watched this team for far too long to get my hopes up anymore.

Julio looked seriously damaged during the Bucs game & has not practiced all week. I personally think it’d be stupid for him to play this game. Our season is over whether we win or lose, so it’s absolutely unnecessary for him to risk further damage to his shoulder.

Hooper is still out as well.

That leaves Ridley, who is so close to being great but isn’t there yet. Maybe when he learns how to extend his arms & fight for the ball rather than waiting for it to come to him & in turn allowing the opposing DB a chance to knock it away or pick it off... or maybe when he figures out how to get both feet in bounds when snagging a ball on the sidelines or back of the end zone...

With the lack of a running game, 2 of the top 3 targets in the passing game possibly sitting this one out, an o-line that is terrible in both run & pass blocking, and a defense that can’t get off the field, I just don’t see the Falcons with much of a chance to win this one.

At least we’ll look neat getting our butts beat in our flashback uniforms.

One of the last times a terrible Falcons squad swept the Saints, and the coach was surrounded by speculation of getting fired, was in 2014 (I think). That was the Osi returning the fumble, and waving goodbye to the clock expiring. Mike Smith got fired after that very season, and here hoping this season plays out exactly the same.
