Hopefully this will be the pre-game speech Ed Ogeron delivers to the LSU players prior to kickoff.

8-0. Since 2000, that's the record in the SECCG of the team with the number 1 rated defense in the SEC.   I like this!

I hardly ever watch ESPN at all unless it's to watch a game. Their "analysts" have been a joke for years. Remember how they used to set up a mock court room skit with Mark May and Lou Holtz to talk ab

@youngbloodz did you watch the SEC championship? I know you are not a UGA fan, no idea how much you watch any of the UGA games but what do you think about Coley this year at UGA and the potential of likely moving forward with him again next year

I saw a lot of the sec championship game. Coley called a so so game IMO. But he didn’t set anything up and there were no adjustments at all. Should have called more screens and passes to the backs since your WRs were hurt. Kirby should demote Coley. He is exactly who he has always been. He can recruit but can’t coach at all. Least not QBs

fromm in his 1st 2 years showed a ton when it comes to helping guys around him be better..  he has had some big passes as well those years and great games.. he was one of the best qbs last year..  this year he had some games like florida where he had some terrific plays and he does a terrific job with his presnap reads getting our guys in the right spot.. i don't get your comment he wants to stay comfortable with a lead and hang on.. i don't see that at all with fromm.. that is impossible to even measure to come up with that conclusion.  if you want to say that about kirby go ahead, but nothing fromm has done or hasn't done says that..

Like you say, I don't think anyone can really say anything about Fromm.  He was awesome years 1&2, but this year he was never allowed to open it up. Now this is what I saw from the games I watched.

The problem is all year he has had to play safe, then in the biggest game of the year he is asked to open it up and do things he hasn't done all year! That's just not fair.

Kirby appears to be serious about winning that game, already publicly saying they probably won't even take the guys who it doesn't appear to matter to. Baylor isn't LSU.

and Kirby brings 13 players.. punter, kicker, and 11 guys who play both ways and we win!!!  lol  but we win by 8 points..

Lol well as you know there were some guys last year who played 100% in that game, beating Texas meant a lot to them, but there were some other guys who couldn't have cared less. That was kinda the attitude we had to deal with a lot last year.

I'm not mad at it. You know Baylor is going to be fired up to beat a big bad SEC program to prove they belong. All the talk about those games not mattering is cute until we're always losing them and people start talking about UGA as an overrated cupcake eater.

for UGA it's a huge disappointment.. for baylor it is freaking awesome and a way to beat UGA, sec powerhouse.. i love the sugar bowl, but our guys need to be ready and want it.. bowl games are rarely about talent or even coaching..it's about who wants to be there.. that's why you never use bowl records to prove anything..

I just have no clue who this team is.  Would you consider us 7 point favorites over Oklahoma?  I wouldn’t.   Well Baylor played them to the wire twice...and their defense helped the dynamic OU offense to 23 points in regulation.

Definitely not an easy win

7 or 8 points isn't an easy win... that's a one possession game.

I'm gonna be honest, Kirby basically throwing the WRs under the bus doesn't sit well with me for a number of reasons.  Chief among them is this...it just sounds like an excuse when for the last 2-3 years all I've heard is about how great our recruiting classes have been, etc.  Yes, you were a little thin at WR due to injuries and early departures.

I also heard about how great this Oline was supposed to be...the depth at RB...your veteran QB...and the no-name defense that was one of the best in the country.  Every team has thin "groups" from year to year.  Everything doesn't work out perfectly and while LSU is good they're not that much more talented than you are outside of QB and some other places.

I'm starting to get De ja vu...

I was really surprised to hear Kirby say that, I think it was just in the heat of the moment thing and protecting Fromm. Wasn't it at his post game? You have to think he was really upset after that loss, he is an emtional guy, one of the things I like about him.

The truth of the matter is, every team has injuries, look at us this year from spring training on to Tua, and every team loses guys by tranfer, juniors going to NFL, or graduation. I think this year it hurt GA more than it has in the past and when it does, it is hard to take as a fan and I can imagine as a coach.

As far as GA goes, there is not 1 thing or player to blame. Like Bama this year, it was a series of unfortunate events that just piled on until the team couln't hold.

Everyone wants to say Bama is done, I don't believe it anymore than I believe that GA is done. Both teams just need to regroup and will come out strong next year!

I definitely think it was heat of the moment and trying to protect Fromm who's taking a ton of criticism.  It still left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm hearing this "Bama is done" talk and that's just silly to me.  However, I will say that Saban has earned the benefit of the doubt to me.  After what I feel were two of the more epic choke jobs in the NC and SECCG last year against Bama...and then an SECCG this year where it looked like you had no business on the field with your opponent...I'm starting to get the feeling that UGA is just the launch pad for the "big boys".  Kind of like a slightly better Wisconsin.  Good team every year but in the end they'll come up short to the team that is going to represent the SEC in the playoff or win the National Championship.

Hope to God I'm wrong but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

I think GA is way better than Wisconsin when healthy.

Those 2 losses to us in NCG and SECCG I would put on Kirby and honestly he is a young HC. Look, Saban has a lot years as a HC and he sometimes screws up too. Kirby just screwed up in both those games and took his foot off the gas. The bad thing is that he did it back to back years. The real question is ,Will he learn from if? I see his stubbornness as his possible downfall, hopefully he has people around him to help him with it.

Will he adjust this year? Will he chage his offensive approach? I believe he can do it, because Saban did and he is pretty stubborn too.

I'm thinking I'm going to take a break from UGA after this bowl game.

Hopefully, they'll take this one seriously and put in some effort after getting tiger-raped this past week.

It's crazy how what LSU did to UGA in the SEC Championship this year was no different from 2003 and 2011, and I brought this up even before the game. The 8 year cycle for LSU since 2003 continued. LSU blows out Georgia in the SEC Championship, and LSU ends up playing in New Orleans for the national championship (which will probably happen again for LSU).
