No disrespect to Hooper, but I'm confident Graham will come in and catch the football. Ryan will quickly get comfortable with him. This injury isn't a positive by any means, but it's just not going to be a major stumbling block to this offense.

You think so?  Hope you're right!  Hard to replace a guy like Hooper.  But, hopefully Graham can get the job done and hold the fort down 'til he's able to come back ---

Not so fast my friend.  Hooper put in countless offseason hours to build comfort and trust with Ryan.  It’s why I’d pay Hooper

Welp, this may save us a few million when extending him.  Cause he was about to have a TG like season and get paid.  He deserves it and we’d be foolish not to pay him

I think he’s already shown he’s deserving of a big contract. If not for injury, he likely would’ve lead or come close to leading most statistical categories at his position. Hopefully he can still make an All-Pro team despite this setback.

Saying you would have done something if not for injury and actually putting up the stats are different when it comes to contracts.

With 1,200 yards, 12 TD’s and 84% catch rate, he would potentially reset the TE market....especially if voted All Pro & back to back Pro Bowls

Despite the totally false narrative on Hooper prior to this season that his hands were suspect, he's actually been amongst the most sure-handed TEs in the NFL. He's worked hard & made huge improvements each year, and definitely needs to be kept in Atlanta.

Hooper is an excellent TE receiver. He has earned a trusted spot as one of Ryan's chief go-to receivers. I respectfully submit this can be achieved without having to spend countless hours with your QB though..

Not sure any other TE's put in extensive one-on-one time with their QB's but there are certainly many other TE's who make important contributions to their offense. I think Graham can and will be a good target for Matt and be productive in his own right.

I don't think people understand that those kind of stats was what he was on pace for. At 24 years old.
