freefall
I seen some people with the opinion to keep Quinn if the team do well in the second half, and it got me curios as to what people think DQ does well at a HC that we want to keep him? I mean: 1. He is not an X&O guy who will outsmart other coaches. 2. He doesn't prepare the team well obviously with how many times this year the team got blown out early in the game. 3. He is bad at clock management. 4. He is not good at in game adjustment. 5. He is not good at development talents with only Grady and maybe Jones who have played above their draft status. Everyone else is either play at expected or below level. 6. He does not get the most out of the talents he has by underachieve. 7. He does not have a keen eye for things by keep playing Vic(or playing him the wrong way) or letting certain coaches go instead of retaining them(LaFleur comes to mind). 8. He takes too long to figure things out. Those are things that comes to mind, but I am pretty sure I have overlooked other things that Quinn is not good at also. Yet beside having players speak highly of him, I have no idea what else he does well, and no I do not consider being good to the players as necessary a good thing. Sometimes people like you because what you allow them to do instead of making them do what they are supposed to do. Charles Wright
Realsurfin
Having weekly gut checks. Getting out coached. Except this week. Maybe he read one of my post about studying the coaches he is playing against. Falcons Fan MVP

Emmitt
You guys can rail on Q all you want, but he is a great human being. I have nothing but respect for the man and how he carries himself. I’ve said a few derogatory remarks over the past few weeks, but the one thing that always made me feel somewhat guilty is how good a man Q is. With that being said, I have a personal motto of sorts, ‘A person has to be at least a little bit of an azzhole to win consistently’ Charles Wright, likeriver and GreggT

As I have stated I do not see him give the team any advantages over other HC, and this team/organization has a hard enough time winning as it is. I just think we would rather want a HC that brings something to the table beside being a nice man. Smith was a very nice man from everything I heard as well, but when it was time to let him go I don't think him being nice mattered either. SPITFIRE
Quinns defense scheme is up to par with some of the cutting edge defenses slowly making their way to the NFL. Quinns biggest fault, is overconfidence in his ability to teach his positional coachs and for them to relay his message.

I just know that somethings are more important than football to me personally. I can certainly see why so many people want him gone, but I try to judge on qualities that most do not. With that said I’m all I favor of bringing a hard nosed s&$t kicker coach in if Q is let go. Charles Wright

Drew4719
The players like him, and that’s pretty important any way you slice it. Over on the braves forum most of don’t think Brian Snitker is a great manager, but the players love him, and that’s been enough to get the braves back-to-back division titles.
