Braves: Only way to go is up

The Atlanta Braves finished the regular season with a 97-65 record which had them atop the NL East. Their first-round matchup didn’t go as planned as the Braves were defeated 3-2 by the St. Louis Cardinals. For this young team, they needed to know what it felt like not only to make it to the big stage but what it means to lose.

Young up-and-coming players such as Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies will come back hungrier than ever after signing large extensions to stay with the team. There is no other way to go than up for this duo. Look for them to win more awards in the 2020 MLB season.

Now full speed to the offseason the Atlanta Braves are faced with decisions like should they keep some of the veterans from last season. Most notably, third baseman Josh Donaldson is a free agent after finishing out his one-year $23 million deal. Donaldson will no doubt be back after having one of his best seasons in Atlanta.
