Excuse me if this was already posted:

https://www.thefalcoholic.com/2019/11/12/20961715/falcons-add-former-washington-running-back-craig-reynolds-to-practice-squad-devonta-freeman

The news on Devonta Freeman’s injury is still unclear, but early reports indicate he “could” be out about two weeks. The Falcons have Brian Hill and special teamer Kenjon Barner as the only potential running backs that have taken an offensive snap in their career. Fifth-round rookie Qadree Ollison was active on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, but only played sparingly on special teams.

That is not much depth, and certainly could become problematic if anyone suffered from an injury. The Falcons have added to their practice squad to provide some depth in case another injury pops up. Still, we expect Hill to take the bulk of all offensive snaps until Freeman returns.

The Falcons are adding Craig Reynolds, per Alison Mastrangelo of WSB.

NFL league source tells me Falcons plan on signing running back Craig Reynolds to practice squad.
Reynolds was waived by the Redskins last week.
This signing makes sense with Devonta Freeman injury and Ito Smith on IR. #NFL #Falcons

My God, how bad can Ollison be?

Give the kid a shot.

I Agree!!!  He certainly knows the offense, so why not see what he can do?!?!?!  This has become a complete mystery to me.  Apparently, they don't believe he's ready yet, for whatever reason --- so, for now, I guess we have to trust the coaches opinion...

Using the words "Freeman," "Hill," and "like" in the same paragraph is laughable on many levels. I see quite some of that above. Don't let the TD fool you, Hill is a sub par NFL running back. You have to look no further than his per carry average last week. He got  a legit look in preseason and lost cred after coming in with lofty expectations of improvement. It is what it is. Hill is a liability if used over time.

I'm not even going to comment on Qaudree. If he can't take snaps from Hill, he's not ready.

Hill looked like the real running back this past sunday.  Ollison and him would be a nice 1, 2 punch.  I would rather have a bigger back anyways.

Which is really what the WCO is supposed to be all about. No knock on our smaller backs, but couldn't you imagine if we had the bigger backs to wear the Patriots down in the Super Bowl.

That's if you trust this staff to evaluate who should be playing.  I don't...
