Free used to be one of those fall forward guys but I think him not leading with his helmet to avoid concussions has taken that somewhat away. Can't blame him though. ⚡Slumerican⚡ and falconsrus

I dont believe hes that good either, I definitely see more potential in Ollison. Im just saying his running style seems to produce more yards after contact than Free has so far. I do understand Free has had his injuries and to me looks like hes being very cautious.. We're down to 2 backs now and maybe Ollisons time to shine is near

To put him in now would be to early...He needs to look and learn just like Hill had to do.. It's just the smart thing to do. Ollison is not ready. I'm looking forward to see Olli when he's ready.. The were stei rly running inside zone being conservative after the 3rd quarter. Until that point Hill was doing quite well. But 8 carries up the middle and for 1 yard on average tends to hurt the average. Freeman and Hill both ran hard and well on Sunday. Not need to tear Hill down. And go watch his negative runs and let me know how solid the blocking’s was

"I think he's a versatile running back, shows that he can run the ball," Rivera said. "He's got good vision, makes a good cut, sticks his foot in the ground and goes downhill. You're not going to arm-tackle him. You've got to wrap and drive. I think that this is a guy that just really has the potential to be a good football player for them and do things that they need. Yup, all this re-newed hill love by folks who’ve been hiding under rocks all season long is funny. would sure like to see what Ollison could bring to our running game. Sometimes I think you take quotes from coaches too seriously. Lip service is a real thing. And coaches are full of BS. What’s Rivera gonna say? “Hill is trash...we are very fortunate that we don’t have to face Freeman and Hooper. This will be an easy one....” coaches never talk like that. They ALWAYS compliment the opponent, no matter what He had a good game and really stepped up and filled the void," Pro Bowl center Alex Mack said of Hill. "He's had a couple good times where his name has been called up unexpectedly in a game and he's delivered. That shows his work ethic and a guy that is paying attention, putting the work in. And it's paying off." Mack mentioned how Hill has stepped up in several instances. One of those included last year's game in December at Carolina, when Hill stepped in alongside then-starter Tevin Coleman and rushed for a career-high 115 yards on just eight carries, including a 60-yard run. Panthers coach Ron Rivera certainly is familiar with Hill's capabilities.
