matty72780
I know it’s ridiculous to think there’s a slim chance of winning out and making the playoffs at 9-7 but it’s also not impossible. If this team plays like we were all expecting them too we look absolutely different. So happy we beat the Saints! Was great to see the guys smiling on the sideline. Anyone think this is possible if we win out? Ergo Proxy, quickzero and Ryan2White

MAD597
No, be happy we beat the Saints and still have a shot at a top 5 draft pick. Thinking playoffs is stupid homer goggle crap. caponine
Francis York Morgan
Lmao, I'd love for it to happen tbh. But I'm pretty sure we're going to fall flat against the Panthers. Tru should be back, players like Beasley won't play hard with complacency setting in, etc. Great win today, but this team is awful until they prove otherwise. PS: 9-7 wouldn't get in. With teams like the Vikings (6-3) and Seahawks (7-2) at 2nd in their division, with easier schedules and tiebreakers over us? Just ain't happening. Unless you expect the saints to lose 7 of the next 9 ATLSlobberKnockers

jlrfalcon
As weird as today's game seemed, I cannot say the playoffs are out of the question. However, even if we went 8-0, it would take a lot of help from others. I also would hate to go 8-0 and then not get in the playoffs because of a week 1 loss to the Vikings who finish with the same record but have tiebreaker or something like that. Drvillain
A game like this could change a season. I think seeing which team shows up next week will be telling. arrogantBEAST
Ergo Proxy
If we win out, somehow get in and win the SB? THAT is about the closest thing to avenging SB51 you could get. Alas, it’s one game. Why didn’t DQ trust Ulbrich sooner? Or have Morris helping the DBs to start the season; given how young our CBs were and terribly the secondary was playing? Playoffs are out of the question cause we are left with no room from error in the part of our schedule that is even harder then the one where we went 1-7. This team is not capable of 8 wins in a row
Romfal
I think 9-7 has no shot at a wildcard this year, Seahawks are 7-2, Vikings are 6-3, Rams are 5-3. You need too many good teams to go 2-5 which is highly unlikely

I think division record is the first tiebreaker regardless of head to head. Sorry if I'm wrong but if we went 9-7 we would have a 6-0 record in division
crimsonhawk
Nah, too little too late....IF (and that's a gigantic big IF) we did win out, we'd still be on the outside looking in. All we'd do is screw up our draft pick and probably change Blank's decision to fire Quinn. I'm happy we destroyed the Sain't in their house, but that's all it is....one feel good moment in an entire season of mediocrity.
