SoCalFalconFan
How would you feel if the Falcons went on a run and won out the rest of this season, finishing 9-7? At this point, I'm hoping for the highest draft pick we can muster, but I'm also a fan who wants to watch his team win. What say you? Tribal Chief
Won’t happen. This isn’t the first time this has been asked MoFalconsFan56, roguebeaver, Refried Beans and 3 others
Statick
If the Falcons did that, then that would show me that Quinn righted his wrongs and finally got his act together as a HC. But he'd have as much as a chance as a one-legged man winning an *ss-kicking contest. Geneaut
I'm always on board with winning so there's that. Brain says go get Chase, but heart and soul says wreck the Panties, Sucks, and Taints. I turned 50 last week, and doing the math I started to realize I might have a limited number of wins left in my time left here on this Earth. I'll take as many as I can get now. I also realize I have no control over getting Young ( or whoever we all decide we want really bad ). Whoever we hire as GM can waste brainpower on how to make that happen. I'll just hope we win some games. I'm not going to apologize for liking to win! Looking at the remaining schedule, i'd be happy to get 2 wins. Each division game is going to be tough as usual. San Fran and Jacksonville are pushing for playoff spots so they're going to bring their all. Carolina has a rookie at QB so you already know what history says there...…..sorry I had to say it. shc
Flyin' In DC
I think this was my thought in another thread: If we ended up beating the Saints twice on blown calls that did not get reversed, ended up 3-13 with a top 5 pick I would consider that a Season success at this point Refried Beans and SoCalFalconFan

Six days a week, I realize in my rational mind that losing is probably our best bet this year. On game day, all that goes out the window and I cheer like crazy for a win. That'll never change. If we win out, and somehow snag a WC game? That'd be a terrific Christmas gift. I firmly believe that, if this defense could just play middling football, getting average sacks and TOs, our offense could still take us deep in the playoffs. Getting there is the problem. PriMeTiiMe
I feel like we see something similar to this every week. What if we run the table and go 12-4.. 11-5..10-6.. Now 9-7. SoCalFalconFan
octoslash
I want the Falcons to win every time they take the field. How in the name of f___ could anyone who claims to be a fan want their own team to lose? I've never seen so many 'fans' cheer against their own team. They think this is Madden and you can just automatically pluck the best player, insert him, and presto! You're in the super bowl. Kinda naïve thinking. Guess I'm old-fashioned, but since I don't even know if I'll be alive come next April, I don't give a hoot about a draft pick until it happens. This is game 9, 2019, against our arch rival. Go Falcons. SoCalFalconFan

Go Falcons. Depends on how you look at it. They want a chance at a once every few years type of talent playing for their favorite team so technically they're rooting for the Falcons in some manner, just not the manner you appreciate Bigbenright and Geneaut
