Falcons Fan MVP
Do you think our defense would master the 3-4 defense if given another year? We have such a young secondary learning a new scheme. Also in the offseason we can cut Vic Bustley and Can'tbell and draft some defensive pieces we need which we had to neglect last year because of offensive line. On the offensive side of the ball by next year Lindstrom and McGrary should have more experience and be more comfortable assuming Lindstrom plays some games. The Falcons offense always seems to play better year 2 under an offensive coordinator so the offense should be a lot better next year if the offensive line gels. Mike Malarkey should help with the run scheme. We've had to play from behind a lot this year. Do you guys think that Dan Quinn and Dirk Koetter would have our team playing some good ball if they were given another year? If the players were given more time to learn the schemes and get comfortable?

A Dog Named Brian
I was all in on Quinn until the bye. Gut the coaching staff, bring in an ***hole as the head guy and keep Ryan in WCO for the rest of his career. And for the love of god don’t bring in another ‘guru’ to ‘fix’ the defense ATLSlobberKnockers, roguebeaver, Malachore and 2 others

FalconsIn2012
When the message no longer resonates with the players, the coach is fired. No exceptions. Even if you love the coach, it’s easier to replace him than it is to turn over the roster. Bquinn_11
I wish we could mute topics. I’m part of the “if you don’t like it, don’t click on the thread” crowd, but I get so tired of seeing these DA prediction threads. What if? Who will be? When will someone get fired? Who F’n knows!! Can this not be an option? If I mute a person, why do I see the threads they start? Falconsfan567 and TheUsualStuff

UnrealfalcoN
he's proven that the team would give up on him. DQ is a good guy but he's not getting that extra effort out of these guys who we know have talent. I'll rather that we start with a fresh mind. But he better be a genius,. The Don™
No it would be a grave mistake bringing Quinn back. Koetter was a hiring mistake...just like Sark was. It's one thing if Quinn didn't let the players get complacent and unaccountable, and then he hires two duds at OC. I might think twice about wanting him gone. The fact that he has let the players get comfortable and there's virtually no accountability in the building, AND he hired two duds at OC, those reasons alone should warrant him being gone. The team hasn't been the same since 28-3 and that will always fall on the head coach. PokerSteve

BUBBASBEANS
It wouldn’t surprise me on the least given how we’ve proceeded thus far, in fact, I’ve braced for it and fully expect it. Anything else is a bonus for me at this point. However, NO, if they haven’t mastered this D in 4 years.....it’s not happening with this bunch. Offensively, I’ll just say this, I doubt anyone will outbid is for the svc of K and this staff cannot evaluate/draft OL talent well enough to give me any hope there. Combine that w the fact our FA moves will be cosmetic (read for appearance only) bottom feeder type due to the Cap and I say NO. This staff, these players will not improve markedly on O. Matt and Julio can’t play every position. Refried Beans and PokerSteve
