FalconsIn2012
This is a big offseason & draft the Falcons have coming up. So there has been lots of intelligent debate on who we should draft and what position should be prioritized. So put your name on the first 3 Rounds. No trades allowed; • 1st Round, 4th Overall: LSU - Grant Delpit * Analysis: I almost pulled the trigger on Okudah because I believe boundary corner will be our biggest need of Trufant is gone. But the defense lacks a playmaker. It lacks a tone setter. It lacks a game changer. Delpit checks all the boxes, especially if we keep a single high safety look. Delpit plays like Darwin James with unique size for the position • 2nd Round, 36th Overall: Boise State: Curtis Weaver • Analysis: We miss our on Chase Young sweepstakes but settle for someone very dynamic in his own right. His career stats, in the same number of games, eclipse those of Young. He averaged over 1 TFL per game and nearly 1 sack per game for his career. Consistently disruptive since Day 1. 32 sacks and 42 TFL in 34 games •. 2nd Round, 63rd Overall: Clemson - AJ Terrell • Analysis: I almost went flash with Etienne (surprised most projections have him mid to late 2nd) but our need at CB is too great. The position in today’s NFL is too important to not prioritize it every single draft. Terrell is a long and talented 5 star corner who many believe will end up the best NFL corner after Okunda. • 3rd Round, 67th Overall: Ohio State - Malik Harrison • Analysis: very physical LB who is an opportunist. Very smart. A Belichick kind of player who simply does his job. Sidecar Falcon, MSalmon, Knight of God and 2 others
408Falcon
I don't care who we play at Safety or Corner if we don't address D-Line in round 1. Even if thats trading back, we need to go Pick 1,2 on D-Line. ike barn87987, vitaman, fan since 1968 and 1 other

I mean, who do you want at corner for us next year? Oliver #1 and who beside him? Who at SS? Who at NB? Our secondary is the biggest concern in my opinion. Would not matter if the QB and WRs have all day to throw/get open. We have 6 sacks in 8 games bro. How can you evalaute anything about our secondary given the current situation? Pass rush is EASILY our #1 concern with or without Trufant. Give Sheffield and Oliver a chance when they don't have to cover for 12 seconds a play and see the difference. Both have shown glimpses but are set-up to fail with this pass rush. rugger8 and ChickenBiscuit

Diggable Birds
OL/DL is still a priority in the draft but we have to be major players in FA 1DL/2OL/2DL/3CB/4LB/5-7 OL,RB,SS

Vic was an All Pro. Takk first rounder who many projected would get 10 sacks and be our Breakout Player of Year. Is talent really the issue on the DL? LOL...my Trae Young takes on Hawks forum have been on point. What don’t you like about It those 4 picks? I trust your eye for evaluation. Tell me why they aren’t solid picks for us? Bear in mind, Young isn’t on the board when we picked so he could not be selected.
thanat0s
The two guys I'd like to land based on our slot... Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn D'Andre Swift , RB, UGA (even if it requires some kind of trade to move up a few spots)

We don't have one.

runshoot
I would like Edge, CB/Safety, LB in that order but would also look at BPA on the defensive side of the ball at each pick. F the offense getting any picks this draft.

I would try and move up for Chase Young - dangle the Patriots/Sanu 2nd rounder which was a gift pick - and if that didn’t work, probably would trade back a few spots and take Derrick Brown. If couldn’t trade up or back, then I probably just take Derrick Brown at 4/5 or whatever our pick would be. There should be a decent corner in early 2nd round.
