Sanu was number 3 WR getting paid like a Number 2 WR. I loved the guy for all the qualities and hope he gets a ring.

Heck I think he is the 4th option... julio, hooper,Ridley, then sanu

Did you read the article? Sanu is OUTPERFORMING what we are paying him even as a #2

How is he outperforming? I don’t need to read the article.

Yeah. Hooper was leading Receiver coming in to the last game. Julio right behind Hoops. I love Sanu but I rather keep Hoops.

Sanu was outperforming his contract?

Ok good, that is probably a factor in to why we got a good draft pick for him.

Maybe he will hold out next year lol.

Once again, statistically he is producing MORE than we are paying him.

That's fine but statistically julio is doing the same...

And Ridley and hooper are doing it even better and making way way less!!!

Dont get me wrong I love alot about Sanu but a few things.

1. 30

2. Going to cost 6mil next year

3. Never had 1000 yards receiving... most 830

4. Never had more then 5TD

The last thing is this all favorite player thing aside what could help us in the long run.. the trade was a win for all sides Patriots get a good hard working WR. Sanu is going to a team that will make him shine..the falcons saves money for other players and get a 2nd rd pick to help with getting this team right..

I have never said this but I think is is no lie a win for everyone

At the end of the day yes he is good here but will be better in NE. Because of play calling and the route that I think is perfect for sanu..

Yea I'm with you a TE is a QB safe place.. and helps with not getting QB hit all the time..

Like I told the other guy this is a win for all 3 partys..

No that's why a smart football team wanted him. And a dumb*** franchise let him go.

I'm not clicking links to things like that, or PFF, etc. I just assume it's nonsensical analytics. Analytics are dumb.

Bottom line is this, Pats will use him like a number 2 WR and will help them more than what he was doing here.

With ATL, he was being underutilized and he is 4th Receiver in terms of production behind Julio, Hooper and Ridley. Sanu has 313 yards and a TD.

Analytics isn’t dumb. It provides insights. Just that.

Make your point. I already know the stats. Sanu is 4th in receivers,

The title of the thread is the point.

From the article:

"Jarrett, Mack, Allen, Ryan, Matthews, Freeman, and Deion Jones are all producing below their value. ***Sanu is the only player in the Top 10 producing more than his contract value."***

Ridley and Hooper are not in our top 10 salaries.

Read the article if you wanna understand why NE has it figured out.

It's nothing but fake stats designed to rope in and occupy fantasy fan boys long enough to sell product.

Lol he is 4th in receiving while getting paid like WR2. How’s that for value? There is a reason NE traded for him, he will be used more than what Falcons were doing. It’s not a knock on Sanu, just that Falcons have other options.

How are you defining the value? It’s just silly article with no stats to back up.

Sanu was great here as a receiver and as a wildcat option, who was always out there playing hard; he'll be missed for sure. However, Sanu's contract was expiring, and you have Ridley as the #2 who should make even larger strides in his third season. We got a second for Sanu, and that's not a bad price for a guy that the Falcons may not be able to afford next season. I don't like that Sanu is not here anymore, but at least we got good value for him.
