Because he is an offensive genius. Very disciplined and takes no mess. Knows how to build a competitive team year in year out. And they have a great fo.

Bring in an offensive minded coach. To get this offensive going again

He takes a **** load of Vicodin and he felt no pain during the suck! As a result, he fought for his team and continues to do so. DQ talks that ####### brotherhood nonsense. Screw your Quinn, you fake *** joke of a coach!

I mean he had 3 straight 7-9 seasons. Most have been ready to fire Quinn after 1. That's not even looking at when Payton was 7-9 & 8-8 in season 2 & 3.

Exactly.....often forgotten.

The saints had 4 losing seasons in a 5 year span.

Sorry but your wrong about four losing seasons in a 5 year span.

Sean Paytons record from 2006: 10-6; 7-9; 8-8; 13-3; 11-5; 13-3; 11-5; 7-9; 7-9; 7-9; 11-5; 13-3; 5-1 currently.

They (Saints) won the Superbowl with their first 13-3 record. Payton Has never had a season like the last us! Out of those 4 years of 7-9 only in two of those years did they start 1-4......... IJS

The end result is still 7-9 for 3 straight years. Again, many were ready axe Quinn after last year. If we had Payton in his first 3 years, this board would have been livid. ****, the 10-6 season was looked at negatively.

The difference between Quinn and Peyton is a SB. If Quinn had won the SB I’m sure we would excuse a few losing seasons.

But Payton WON the Superbowl not just played in it! Payton had winning records after winning the Superbowl! So he actually had the records to back him up having 7-9 seasons to kind of rebuild! Quinn doesn't have the records to warrant this!

He's an imaginative coach who pays attention to details while Quinn has no business being a head coach. Quinn's greatest attribute is his kung fu grip on the coattails of the talent (if any) around him.
