Consolidated Arthur Blank Thread

When I read between the lines of Blank's statement:

Blank said. "I don't have any specific timetable. Just looking at each game one at a time. It's the bye week, yes, but it's not a trigger for making any changes. We'll just continue to look at what we see developing and continue to support the coach and support the general manager and continue to ask them to do everything they can to put some wins up on the scoreboard."

Blank said the evaluation isn't a "one- or two-game yardstick." He said the team is committed to winning the next game and then evaluating after that.

Both are on the choppnig block if they lose this game imo.

All of them

Not a fan of the Symphony I take it? The devil you know......Our players are coachable, they are not horrible players that would result a 2-14 season, they need a tough *** coach and we could salvage a 6-10 season, maybe. Who friggen knows, maybe we do just plain suck, save for 5 players.

Shouldn't take this game to evaluate it. We have numerous games already on the books, that show this staff has no clue say to do. It's not getting better and it's not going to get better. Stop delaying the inevitable.

I don’t see TD gone. He drafted and signed according to HC’s scheme. That’s a fact

TD has now had multiple coaches and lots of OCs and DCs and has shown he is not capable of evaluating talent on the OL and DL.

He should be fired just for that.

Men, you guys don’t give up on TD. Why would they fire TD? He has been the most successful GM and a good one. TD went after players based on the scheme and what the coaches wanted. What is this nonsenses about getting rid of TD when he is operating based on his job. TD acts according to the coaches, scouts and or a panel that comes to an agreement what to do in the draft and with FA’s and so forth.

Dimi should be the first one to the State Line:

  • Built a lopsided roster
  • Been at the bottom of the league in cap space for half a decade
  • Coming up on a -$8.0M 2020 cap table with 40 players under contract
  • Traded 15+ picks for 5 players
  • Struggled replacing the Olinemen he inherited from Reeves and McKay
  • Couldn't build a front seven to save his life
  • Drafted 4 LBs and signed four others when asked to get ready for Smitty's 3-4. All 8 were bums
  • Cut Abe, The Burner and Clabo and replaced them with Osi, SJax and Puddin
  • Let Grimes, Dahl and Weems walk. Replaced them with Tru, King Konz and Fair Catch Franks
  • Blew 1st round picks on Jelly, Teasley, Featherspoon and Sackmaker Baker
  • Threw away 2nd round picks on Oliver, Jailin Collins, King Konz and Haggleman

Either way if they lose today I won't be seeing Quinn in week 10. Just like my favorite restuarant, if I get food posioning once, ok maybe it was a fluke, get it again and they don't hire a new chef I'll be eating elsewhere. Once the restaurants gets a clean bill of health I'll return loyal as ever. I don't pay for for a polished turd.

I hate weird name calling but I am ok with TD being driven out of state line. We have seen the same story with multiple coaches.

Is anyone buying this? The defense is still gonna suck big time. How can anyone think they will suddenly be much better after playing the worst defense in the NFL to this point? Blank is in denial or losing his mind...

He is a good Manager giving the rope to climb up or hang themselves.. Giving them every chance to turn it around. If they don’t climb up, they will be hung on same rope.

I've been considering the possibility that Quinn doesn't want to stay here, and if we see another bafflingly bad defensive game plan today, I might actually believe that to be the case.

It sounds crazy but it happens every day in every area of the workforce.  People burn out and say 'f--- it' and get themselves dismissed.  Some people don't have the mental makeup to quit, and they can't admit that their jobs are too much for them, so they subconsciously do themselves in.

What about Stefanski  OC from Minnesota? I like what he has adjusted to doing lately with their Offense. Don't know a while lot about but him but have heard good things.

Blank/TD missed their calling when we had Shanny as our OC. Should've just given him a raise to HC and demote/fire DQ after the SB.  I think we go after McCarthy or McDaniels.

What will Blank do? Will be fire TD is question? I don’t care either way, although I think TD has been fine. That’s not much different than many GMS and had we won the SB..,this wouldn’t be a discussion

No one cares about what Arthur Blank does or says just hiring a new coach wont solve the problem that our roster is compiled of third rate garbage. All Team President/ GMs; Scouts, they all gotta go. Complete tear down, start it now. Rip off the band aid. Call Ed Dodds tonight and open your check book and let's get back on track.

Thomas Dimitroff is the real problem with this team

Just look on that field and see how grossly under talented we are at every level of the defense and how terrible our offensive line is

thomas Dimitroff is the architect of the this teams drafting, and yeah sure Quinn has a problem wanting to take a guy and coach him up to be diamond, but TD has had Ryan going on 11 years now and consistently failed to build in the trenches.

because of TDs failure to build the trenches you get the product we are witnessing now, a team getting manhandled and out played in every way.

we also have a dire issue of offensive scheme which shows DKs complete inability to adapt a game plan to counter our weaknesses. Too many deep developing routes that allow an already porous offensive line to be put into a position where their percentage to fail is escalated immensely.

Thomas Dimitroff has paid and constructed this team and stamped them as a contender, so yeh, y’all go ahead and fire Quinn...whatever...IF YOU DONT FIRE DIMITROFF YOU ARE ONLY CUTTING THE TOP IF THE WEED, NOT EXTRACTING IT BY THE ROOT.

Firing Quinn does nothing, this team needs new leadership from the front office

Quinn has total personnel control, as well as control over the defense and game day decisions and game planning.

This is not verified, just hear say.

I don’t believe anything they’ve said in the past, and now that Pioli is gone — who knows who really pulls the string.

i know when I see TD and DQ press conferences, I don’t see a HC that has complete control over that *** hole sitting next to him
