marvinthemartian
I like Chuck Smith. That being said, it is interesting that he is not employed by a NFL team. I wonder if there is a behind the scenes reason he isn’t? I’m sure he makes good money at his camp and may not even want to coach in the NFL but I would like to see what he could do coaching a D Line in the NFL. If it was our D Line I would like it even better. Dirtier Bird
Butudontseeme™
I really never thought about Vic that way concerning training camp. That IS disrespectful to DQ AND the “brotherhood”. Especially when a coach mentions you by name as somebody he wants to work with hands on. They're not gonna give the job to someone who will probably take their job. Cole World

During the season you’re working anywhere from 8-14 hour days every day. falconsd56, Geneaut and PokerSteve

PeytonMannings Forehead
What's Chuck's username? I know he on here somewhere. Saw a couple of mentions made a few days ago on the board about Vic skipping OTA's and how disrespectful it was. He only has been neck deep in working with and developing some of the greatest pass rushers the NFL has to offer, including Haynesworth, Von Miller, Osi and perhaps now Bud Dupree. That and he remains loyal to and invested in the success of his former team, the Falcons, means he is an untapped asset we have stupidly ignored through two different coaches. I saw an article once showing how many people he has been "neck deep in working with" and the list wasn't very impressive...at all...almost like it was more the player being outstanding than Chuck Smith teaching them anything. 3 minutes ago, Vandy said: He was a pretty ******* good player here back in the day.... Player, yes. I'm talking about from this "pass rush specialist" angle everyone keeps building him up over. If I wasn't dragging booty I would find the list I referenced above. It was not inspiring.
