Y’all begging for that right now, gonna be wishing it never happened in the end. The best thing to do is to go ahead and draft a capable replacement and go the full Aaron Rodgers route. The dead cap s

There’s nothing wrong with Matt Ryan.  Half the teams in the league would love to have him.

More like 3/4 of the league. Matt Ryan is a legit top 5 QB in the nfl

Defense is clearly this team’s biggest issue, next to last in league in just about every defensive category. DQ must be thanking god for Miami.

As we’ve discussed, this team is the worst coached team in league so far this season. Yet threads and threads about firing TD and wanting a new owner To replace blank.

And so many threads throwing rocks at offensive players.

The only bad things about the offense this year is despite the good numbers, every time they get in field range or the red zone, they keep stalling us or committing boneheaded penalties, and our running game has been atrocious, other than that, the rest of the blame goes to the defense. We have a player friendly coach who is the players' coach, and he only cares about athleticism and speed, but he doesn't focus on player makers. We don't have any player makers, gamer changers, or leadership on the defensive side of the ball except for Grady Jarrett and Deion Jones. We have no discipline on the defensive side of the ball and so many VETERANS making mental errors. Our defense is going to have to have a HUGE overhaul in the off season (which also means making huge cuts and replacements in the draft).

They can also do what Deshaun did and Murray and Jackson or Wilson can avoid a sack like Ryan does but instead of throwing it away , turn it into a big gain running. For that reason alone, mobile qbs are becoming a hot commodity

Watson isn't as great as you say when avoiding sacks. He has been one of the most sacked QBs in the league since he was drafted.

He got sacked 0 times last week because the Falcons defense sucks. Watson was sacked 6 times the week before against the Panthers.

The only thing they need to do is stop trying to force Matt to throw 40+ downfield to Julio. Just keep the **** simple and draw up short and medium routes. I know Matt can throw that far so no one has to come in here showing a clip from last season.

leave all that 50-60 yard bomb stuff to the young qbs with the super strong arms and play smart. You don’t see Brees, Brady, and Rivers OC trying to force them to do too much. Dirk or whoever else it will be needs to take a page from that book. Don’t need that home run play every possession.

Somehow we know this but the men who get paid millions and have all of this experience coaching don’t. I wonder if I can apply for HC, DC or OC job on Indeed.

Keep worshipping them prevent defense garbage time stats that Ryan puts up.  When it COUNTS,  redzone, etc.  he is missing in action...  Like La Canfora said, outside Atlanta, his value drops...  Phillip Rivers, Andy Dalton, Matt Ryan, they the same...

Mobile QB don't do any better than pocket passers. Sure you have an exception like Russell Wilson but outside of that , its like 1-2 hit wonders.

Yep. Mobile QBs aren’t a new phenomenon in the NFL. One shows up every few years and does well and then 10 are drafted. In 5-6 years most are gone.

The number of Wilson’s in the world is limited. Extremely.

Face it folks. We had the fastest QB ever with an absolute cannon almost 20 years ago and it didn’t matter a bit to the W column. We had the same crappy D and the losses kept piling up. It was fun to watch but the result was the same.

Dalton not really on the same level of Rivers and Ryan but yeah rivers and Ryan are the same guy. Swear to god when we drafted him my first words were “please don’t be the Philip Rivers 2.0” we’ll sure as sh*t....

He is among the highest rated redzone qb in football.

Using "Like La Canfor said" in any context says a lot

Rivers has won more playoff games than Ryan and Nick Foles has equaled him in almost half the same amount of playoff games...

I didn’t mention anybody but Dalton.

Dalton also doesn’t put up the stats Rivers and Ryan do. He rarely cracks 4K yards. The comparison is lazy at best.

he puts up yardage. thats the point i was making.  In other words there is nothing Rivers that Ryan does that Dalton doesn't do...

Dalton doesn't put up yardage, he has only surpassed 4,000 yards only 2 times in 8 seasons.

Dalton has yet to even have a playoff win after 8 seasons.

Dalton is nothing like Ryan or Rivers.
