Posted October 6 So, what is at the root of the three consecutive losses? “Accountability,” Allen said. When asked if the duo surprised the Falcons’ defense with certain looks, Allen said no, the Falcons were prepared for the plays the Texans ran. It came down to not executing. “It’s the same thing our coaches gave us in practice,” Allen said. “That’s the sad thing about it all.” Falcons players and head coach Dan Quinn have repeatedly said they’ve had good weeks of preparation leading up to Sunday, but there seems to be a disconnect come gameday. https://www.atlantafalcons.com/news/ricardo-allen-matt-ryan-react-to-three-game-losing-streak-it-starts-with-account This team is in complete shambles. Grady said players are not pulling their weight. Julio and Matt do not have a good reason why we look like trash on gameday. Jack Crawford and D. Campbell have said in the past that the gameplan didn't prepare them for certain looks while taking teams lightly (ex. Browns last year). Now, Ricardo is saying there is no accountability. This team is tuned out and has been for a while now. It isn't just ONE thing. It's a little bit of everything. Scheme, execution, accountability, coaching, penalties, undisciplined ball, etc... ya_boi_j, putnam6, Schwarzwald and 8 others like this

Posted October 7 The question becomes why aren’t the players performing and are inconsistent across all 3 phases for nie on 2 plus years. Ill discipline procedural penalties again and again.Players play there part no doubt but it’s deeper as they haven’t found a remedy for the same issues. It'd be one thing if he were trying to run and make a guy miss. He simply went for the hit after the ball was out. Imagine that wiping what should have been an INT between Debo PD that thing into Vondre's hands... That's some 2017 Falcons D stuff when we had penalties negate turnovers 2 or 3 times at least. Posted October 7 If they really are being presented with the right looks in the practices leading up to the games then that comes down to execution, makes me think we’re not as talented as I thought obviously this is dependent upon Rico’s statement being true

Posted October 7 Execution? Nah, these guys look like they have no idea what they're doing on defense. If they were given all these looks in practice then they are 1)dumb as sh1t or 2)don't care. ATLSlobberKnockers likes this
