Hear me out for a second...Peyton Manning as head coach.

Recommended Posts

He's one of the greatest offensive minds to ever play the QB position, guy had two rings with two different franchises, he's well connected and clearly has interest in pursuing coaching at one point in his career and he'd immediately have the respect of players based off of accolades alone.

Not only that, but he was also extremely slow and lacking in arm strength, therefore he will understand Ryan perfectly (kidding) .

What do y'all think?

The last thing this veteran squad needs is a young HC with no real coaching experience

What we really need is a veteran HC that will come in and start chewing out players like Beasley rather than coddling them.  We need one who can see that players like Freeman are out of gas or don't want to play and just sit them.  We need a HC willing to take a chance on a player like Ollison rather than leaving them on the inactives.  We need a HC willing to throw a challenge flag more than once a season.

Kellen Moore...follow the trend of young OC guys.

What has Kellen Moore done and proven that makes you think he's qualified to be an NFL head coach? I keep asking this question and getting no answers. Did you see last weeks Cowboys game against the Saints? Cowboys offense totally shut down. You watching this game against the Packers today? Totally shutdown. He might MIGHT be qualified in 5 years or so but not right now. He hasn't even had 5 full games as an NFL OC under his belt.

Or a young gun can just let Beasley and freeman walk...doesn’t take a old re-hashed coach to do that, just one who isn’t blindly committed to players.

A guy that has been learning from one of the best in the business for a long time. Pete Carmichael.

You're not gonna get a "proven" coach.

Peyton has a good reputation, he will not mess that up by having anything to do with this crap as organization.

The point was more that these young gun offensive guys are yielding great results...pick whatever name you prefer.

about time the league gets away from thinking you have to be old and pay your dues to get a shot. Screw that crap.

If we let Beasley go midseason, he would likely sign with the Saints and have 10 sacks against us later this year?  He is gone after this season no matter what.

As for Freeman, I am just hoping he pulls a muscle or something soon and signs an injury settlement.  However, TD is not going anywhere midseason and would not let Freeman walk midseason.
