Spts1
Are the Irish for real or was the Georgia game a result of the Irish coaching staff and players going into a extra gear because of the stakes of that game? We will see today as they face a tough Virginia team. Vegas isn't sure either because the spread is only 10.5 favoring the Irish. I say the Irish are real and cover...BARELY... mike teevee
It’s weird, Virginia is letting their QB throw the ball down field and it seems to be working. sdogg and AutumnEffect

It appears our HC is the only one that’s scared to let his QB throw it down field.
Spts1
Notre Dame act like last week was their Superbowl...
mike teevee
True. The energy they are playing with is nowhere close to what it was last week. They look like a Richt team playing at noon.

AF89
Notre Dame probably has as good a defense as you'll find outside the SEC/Clemson mqg96, g-dawg, Porter Osborne Jr and 1 other

SacFalcFan
Notre Dame has taken control of this game.. Great win for Notre Dame.
95Dawg
Gotta remember that some of the teams look bad the week following UGA because of being such a physical game
Falconsfan567
Virginia did really well until late in the 3rd quarter. Couple of defensive touchdowns sealed the deal against them.

I don't know how much of a great win this is for Notre Dame. Virginia last week barely escaped losing at home against Old Dominion.

That might be debatable with Missouri possibly being a challenge offensively and Auburn is on a roll against some bad defenses. But there isn't another offense on our schedule that scares you.
