Yall can blame me! I turn on the Braves and Folty gives up 3 runs.

They’ve all checked out. I know I’m blocked by you so this comment is for the real men and women.

Freddie just needs to bite the bullet and get surgery done after the season.

I dont understand why hes waited. He said it's been an issue for years. Get it fixed.

Well EOF said on Twitter he had one from 2005 and didn't get it fixed until 2013 because it only bothered him every once in a while. That was the same way Freddie was but now it's clear that it's gotten worse.

I actually talked to someone I know that said he's got one in his heel and the refuses to get surgery on because where his bone is the ligament would have to be disconnected and the bone shaved down and then the ligament reattached and it's a pretty lengthy recovery process. So depending on where at in the bone Freddie's issue is, that may be why he doesn't have surgery done.

Everyone seems to be "concerned" that the Braves are "limping" into the playoffs so I decided to go back and look at history to see if going into the playoffs hot carries over or not. As you will see, there's really no correlation between going into the playoffs hot and playoff success. It's totally random.

  • 1991 = 8-1 in Final 9 = Loss WS in 7
  • 1992 = 7-2 in Final 9 = Loss WS in 6
  • 1993 = 6-3 in Final 9 = Loss NLCS in 6
  • 1995 = 5-6 in Final 11 = Won WS in 6
  • 1996 = 2-4 in Final 6 = Loss WS in 6
  • 1997 = 4-4 in Final 8 = Loss NLCS in 6
  • 1998 = 14-2 in Final 16 = Loss NLCS in 6
  • 1999 = 11-2 in Final 13 = Loss WS in 4
  • 2000 = 5-6 in Final 11 = Loss NLDS in 3
  • 2001 = 6-3 in Final 9 = Loss NLCS in 5
  • 2002 = 5-2 in Final 7 = Loss NLDS in 5
  • 2003 = 5-2 in Final 7 = Loss NLDS in 5
  • 2004 = 7-2 in Final 9 = Loss NLDS in 5
  • 2005 = 4-7 in Final 11 = Loss NLDS in 4
  • 2010 = 5-7 in Final 12 = Loss NLDS in 4
  • 2012 = 13-5 in Final 18 = Loss WC Game
  • 2013 = 7-4 in Final 11 = Loss NLDS in 4
  • 2018 = 7-4 in Final 11 = Loss NLDS in 4

Freeman left the clubhouse before media was allowed in. They asked Snitker but he said ask Freeman.

Ask freeman what?

Limping in is one thing, but as injured and all the nagging things going on, that is concerning.
