Interception ALMOST Cost Us the Game

Recommended Posts

Instead of being up by 8 or 12.  No change and we gave the Eagles chance.  This is a repeat of the Super Bowl.  Wish Ryan would practice ball security. But he doesn't he panics and then throws interceptions.  Every time he gets a little pressure, I hold my breath.  Because I expect an interception by Ryan.  He can never escape pressure.

I hate to say this but i don't expect the Falcons to win a Super Bowl with Ryan unless he learns not to panic and not force throws.

Edited

I stand corrected.  Just maybe this team may be the team to win it all.  The defense held when they had to and Julio bailed Matt out  of the goat role.  So there is hope especially with the Saints losing and for them the worst part is losing Brees.

However, if we are to win it all. Ryan has to stop making stupid mistakes and forcing passes into double and triple coverage!  Ryan will have to learn how to handle pressure better than he is currently doing.

Ask me if I care?  I'm not a homer.  I'm a transplant. I'm one of those d*** Yankees. Trying to like my new home team. My wife has more faith in the Falcons than me.  So far, they haven't proved their ready for prime time.  But maybe the defense will be good enough this year to be able to cover any offense mistakes and make them ready for prime time

Falcons aren’t ready for prime time the day after they win a prime time game?

I'm confused, didn't the Falcons win the game? How could an int cost us the game?

Furthermore, how can Ryan be top 6 all time in completion percentage and constantly panic?

Likewise, he's top 11 all time in int percentage, as in only 10 other Qbs have ever thrown fewer ints, based on number of passes than Ryan.

How does he have 37 game winning drives [top 9 all time] and 28 fourth quarter comebacks [top 10 all time] with this constant panic you speak of?

Some time this year, Ryan will pass Warren Moon for top 10 all time passing yardage, then shortly afterwards, pass 50,000 yards. How is this possible if Ryan can't handle pressure?

Give you 100 to 1 odds his answer involves a super bowl loss.

Thanks !!  But I prefer Tanqueray, Remy Martin, or a glass of sweet red wine!  Will be celebrating at Ellery's in Atlanta, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat nights.
