Great Game vs Philly

For the Offense and the Defense. Takk had one of the better games against Peters that I've seen. The entire front seven contained them well. We took their running game away, and forced them to beat us with Wentz. Aside from a few missed sack attempt, we pretty much shut them down. A couple of busted plays sprung open some receivers.

One offense, the OL held up well, and gave Ryan time to make some plays. He had 3 picks (all came under pressure). He made the right play on every throw. We just have to practice more, and our offense will be in sync.

Definitely happy to see the D play well.

"He made the right play on every throw" is a generous evaluation of Ryan. Making the right decision is only half the equation for a QB - making the throw is kinda important too. The throw to Sanu that got picked was a bad throw. Maybe Julio should have been running a post of the INT Ryan threw deep? Otherwise that was a turrible pass.

Ryan has played below his standard for two consecutive games. The running game has been non-existent. To be 1-1 right now is a good sign- still safe to assume Ryan will return to form.

I said the right decision to throw on every pick. Don't be like the others and think that I'm trying to justify a turnover. Right decisions to throw, the passes just weren't there. He needed to be aggressive, and he did just that. Julio ran the correct route, and Matt made the correct decision, his throw just wasn't enough. Timing is everything, and that's what pressure will do to you. He was forced to get rid of the ball a split second too soon.
