TO: Falcons digital media and Marketing

68 posts in this topic

Suddenly every hype video in Atlanta has to be shot in Pullman Yards, or some knockoff warehouse.  See Atlanta Hawks intro vid when Lloyd Pierce became coach.

A few years ago, back when I still got Falcons surveys, the marketing team would ask if they should use the Dirty Bird as a marketing tool, and the survey options were either in support of that or "no, that was fun in another era."  Looks like they got their marching orders and this is what we're left with.  Wonder if they have the nuts to play this garbage in the jumbotron on opening night?

I work in media and I'd be in a lot of trouble if I neglected the website the way they do their YouTube page. Absolutely no content and when something is uploaded, it's only two minutes. The road to recovery vids for Neal and Allen may be the most creative thing on that channel in the past 5 years.

Jay should be fired for this garbage.

All I am saying is that the hype videos and songs etc don't matter if your fans are restless and tired of the product that they are seeing on the football field. The Neal and Allen recovery videos were amazing and that's the content we want to see, but the bone crusher crap and the brotherhood music videos hold ZERO value esp when the product on the field is garbage..are the eagles doing that? are the patriots doing that? No...why are we doing that? Who are we as a team to be doing that? Do we have a ring or rings to be doing all that? They are trying so hard to hype the fans with videos, pep rally's, and even changing up the pre game routine at the Benz to get fans in their seats...its just embarrassing guys...As a falcons fan for 10+ years I want to see greatness on the field and not the same crappy offensive line, lack of pass rush, and no created turnovers.

For the love of god marketing team, scale back the "hype videos" and focus on more player content and insight such as what the falcons do on Wednesday's (follow players or coaches around) etc things like that.

Thanks

I hate that break t to you, but the Falcons are just a business trying to generate revenue by putting butts in seats.

and its not working because the product that puts buts in the seats like mine is a winning product so they could come up with 1001 hype videos and cool themes or slogans or whatever but I won't pay a dime for a team that isn't producing on the field consistently.

For the love of God, can you guys please stop coming out with these embarrassing marketing and quick little "hype" videos please?? I think I speak for all Falcons fans when I say that all the fans want to see is a winning product on the football field. We are getting tired of the hype year after year. Quick little phrases like "brotherhood" and "us vs y'all" don't mean a **** thing and hold no value when there is a losing product on the field year after year. Go look at the eagles or patriots accounts, and you dont see all this nonsense. They understand their fans and they know that all they want to see is a winning product on the field and that's what puts people in stadium seats and thats what drives revenue higher...

No, You don't speak for me. I have no problem with them. If you don't like them don't watch them.

The dolphins gave up 59 pts last week in a loss while everyone said they were tanking, yet today they had a decent crowd for their home opener.

Maybe the team isn't the problem in Atlanta.
