Why didn’t we kick PAT’s?

7 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 28.

It was straight idiocy to go for 2. And he did it twice.

The numbers to go for 2 at those points in the game don't add up to a win, no matter how you want to spin it.

He refused to kick the field goal in the SB and we directly lost because of it.

I have a feeling this really is Quinns' last year at the wheel. Just too many bonehead mistakes.

First time:

8+7+7+7=29?

8+7+7+3+3=28?

Second time:

6 (already scored)+8+7+7=28

Doing it the second time somewhat made sense to offset not having got the conversion the first time.  But, the first time really made sense only that it could have put us in the lead after 4 TD's or allowed for 2 FG's instead of a 4th TD (enough possessions left?).

It would have made the most sense to take the easy PAT's on the TD's we did score and saved a 2-pt conversion for either TD #3 or #4.  Or, would have tying them 28-28 and going to OT been a bad thing?

What made it all stupid is that there wasn't enough time for 3 or 4 more scores. Just kick the PAT and go home with a 28-14 loss.

Loser mentality.  The answer is 8-8-7-3-3=29. 2 field goals at the end of a game are much easier than a touchdown. It's not rocket surgery.

Loser mentality? No, it's called REALISTIC. The Falcons scored with 9 minutes left in the game. You really think they were going to get 4 more scoring possessions? The Falcons second score of the game happened with only 1 minute left in the game. Those were the last 2 possessions the Falcons had in the game. But they're gonna get the ball back and score 3 more times? Thanks for proving your stupidity!
