Zero interceptions.

Completed 80% of passes with 3 purposeful throwaways

This is the part that impressed me the most.  He is not trying to make plays that aren't there like a lot of young QB's. The only poor decision I saw was holding the ball too long at times.

I bet he was impressed with his ability at handing the ball off too..

lol

jk gdawg

Fields probably was leaving UGA regardless but he was handled poorly.  He’s a beast and way better than he was given credit for here.   People wanna complain about the competition but that won’t matter.    Strong arm, high completion rate, protects the ball and runs with authority.  He’s a bigger /stronger DeShaun Watson.

Georgia will forever regret letting Fields get away. People like to trash talk, but as the season progress we shall see what comes of this decision.

Georgia will be fine

Yes we will be fine  - but Fields was the highest rated prospect ever recruited by UGA.  If Fromm leaves this year, our starter will be an outside the top 100 prospect in Carson Beck - he’s probably a huge dropoff.

Justin is the kind of QB you can win a Natty with.

Who were the quarterbacks Bama won titles with?

Bama plays Georgia straight up and then in critical situations, they take away the passing game and dare Fromm to run and they shut Georgia down.   Its easy to defend Georgia in redzone because of it.  When you have teams as talented as Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson, its coaching and maximizing the talent which will win.

Always makes me laugh how people will make threads about one player and then complain about everyone giving them a hard time or being a hater.

Like sooner or later you'll have to realize people are just picking at Fields because they know you'll get all bent out of shape about it and rant about a player on a team you don't actually care about.

Exactly Georgia is more one-dimensional then people want to understand, but they are a strong team. It's just that when push comes to shove Kirby won't make that adjustment like Nick or Dabo will.

Ok

So where are Georgia national championships?

Saban has bested Kirby twice now. I don't have ill will towards Kirby he's already a better coach than Richt, but lacks that killer instinct to make a change like Saban taking out Tua in favor of Jalen and the opposite last year.
