He immediately went on a 5 game hitting streak after that night. It was the week after the benching he fell flat. Benching was August 18th. It was August 25th when the hits stopped. He has 2 hits since that day. He is probably tired. Hes at 634 ABs this year. That's already almost 30 more than hes ever had in his life.

He's hitting .160 his last 15 games.

Logic is flawed.

Numbers don't lie.

Doesn’t have anything to do with your original premise.. as unknown stated “logically” it has to do with being tired..

It has just as much to do with it considering both can only be considered as assumptions.

So he started his “slump” 6 games afterwards yet it’s a legit assumption?

Except he's always had issues with hitting a fastball.

This year he has. Hes hitting .237 against fastballs. He hit .324 against them last year.

HE'S HITTING .160 OVER THE LAST 2 WEEKS OR MORE.

THE 25TH WASN'T 15 GAMES AGO.

I really don't even know why I try to converse with you since you don't possess a opinion of your own.

So that's a problem considering he has a larger sample size to go from and he hasn't been tired all year long.

Maybe but he'll get there. Hes still just barely 21, hes still learning and getting better.

your original premise AGAIN was that it was due to being benched.

im not sitting here arguing that he’s slumping.. I’m saying the two don’t relate..

dont converse then..

I don't disagree, I just don't like seeing a guy not be able to hit the most common pitch you will see.
