Here is the current list of practice squad players for Atlanta:

  • WR Christian Blake
  • S Chris Cooper
  • QB Danny Etling
  • OL Sean Harlow
  • DE Austin Larkin
  • DT Jacob Tuioti-Mariner
  • DT Justin Zimmer

Hope we add Chandler Miller. Surprised we kept Harlow over him, but maybe Sean’s last 2 preseason games were enough to keep him instead of Miller.

1 down, 1 to go.

Yeah. TBJ better make this **** PS.

Hopefully Quinn and TD are toying with us.

They’ve only listed guys that were already on our team before.

Hope that doesn’t mean the last three spots are from other teams...and maybe only two spots if you count the WR that was reported to have come to us from the Lions.

just not official yet

Thanks.

After looking up some stuff on Powell, I see that he's a smallish (5'8" 185lb) playmaker w/ really good speed & excellent quickness.

  • Very versatile player who projects as a slot receiver & return specialist.
  • Used a lot on end arounds, Wildcat, bubble screens, etc.
  • Former HB who takes pride in his blocking ability.
  • He doesn’t talk, according to coach Randy Shannon, he leads by example.
  • Described by various teammates as a warrior, a baller and a grinder.
  • NFL comparison: Darren Sproles

So, did we upgrade Green to Powell? Interesting. Worth a stash given Barner being the only decent returner option for us right now.
