MarkMc44
I didn't realize that practice squad players are guaranteed a salary of at least $8,000.00 per game week, but it isn't capped. Teams can pay a member much more. Is this new for 2019? Do these salaries count against the cap? This will really factor in over the next few hours! GO FALCONS!!!! Smiler11
It's not new. It's been in since the 2011 CBA and it does count against the salary cap. MarkMc44
ya_boi_j
It was much cheaper years ago. I’d be happy to be on the practice squad MarkMc44
falconidae
Don't think they count against the cap. There's no limit to what you can pay a PS guy, but haven't seen much mote than a 50,000 bonus, which as my dad always says, is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but isn't much when thinking about NFL salaries. Edit: I was wrong, they count against the cap. MarkMc44
LouDog
Think they need a 37 year old tackling dummy? PokerSteve, MarkMc44 and ya_boi_j
MarkMc44
You would expect cut down players to sign with the team that originally signed them, unless enticed elsewhere by more money. More intrigue and calculation for the Front Office! GO FALCONS!!!!
